I got the sense that Walt Disney World and Disney Hollywood Studios were like that already. The parks are geared towards families with kids, and a smoking ban seems entirely appropriate. And considering Walt Disney himself died from lung cancer which is attributed to him being a heavy smoker? I could see why the company would take that stance.
I'm beginning to look at going to WDW with the family next spring. But they don't seem to be accepting bookings for 2020 yet, and there do not appear to be options for booking hotel rooms at the Star Wars themed resort. What I've been able to find
is limited, but it looks like construction of the hotel is slowly getting underway. Land has been cleared and they seem to be dealing with the major utility connections and foundation work. But I don't think the hotel will be open for quite some time. And the estimates on the number of rooms at the Star Wars hotel seem EXTREMELY limited.
