...at this point, we're not sure!
But via Twitter today, EE let it be known that they've lined up a mystery Star Wars Exclusive. :)
Not even sure if it's Hasbro but I figured we'd start a thread.
Let the rampant, unruly, unrealistic speculation begin!
I'll kick it off...
To-Scale Jabba's Sail Barge with desert sand stand that the UBP Sarlacc plugs into, and JP ICMG Figure pack-in. F it! If I'm randomly guessing, I'm guessing stupid!
-
ESB Slave 1.
-
Some uninteresting non-Hasbro item, like a bobble head or magnet.
-
logs?
-
Jocasta Nu hemorrhoid pillow :P
-
Jocasta Nu hemorrhoid pillow :P
Dang it Jayson.. I was going with Holographic Jocasta Nu.
I will change it to : Mandolorian Shuttle
-
Shadow X-Wing Pilot
Or a Rebel Fleet Trooper with a holster
-
I'm guessing Pawlus brilliantly convinced Hasbro & Disney to pass along a complete 63 piece set of the Disney astromech exclusives (sans hats). $119/per. **Pete cringes**
That, or Cliegg Lars (w/ chair) in a battle with BT for best overpriced AOTC character debut figure in 2013.
-
I think it will be the GG Rocket Firing Jumbo Fett
-
Luke, Vader and the pyre?
-
(http://www.bobafettmp.com/bobafett/faq/images/faq-rotj-flirt.jpg)
EE "Ladies Man"Boba Fett/Rystall 2-pack.
-
I think it will be a GG Jumbo figure but if it is a Hasbro item it will be something that was supposed to be released somewhere else, either general or exclusive, but then got dropped. I'm thinking it might be Krell. Or that funeral pyre. Maybe that Nabbo set that Target was going to get?
-

I'll second this one. Seems like a solid contender.
If I was gonna go with a longshot choice, I'd say a modern take on the Kenner droid factory.
-
If Adam had something to do with it, I'll guess it's a miniaturized version of a ship, with figures that feature 2 points of articulation and guns molded to their hands, so they "fit in the cockpit and kids don't lose the weapons".
I kid, I kid... sort of. :-*
-
Hate to break everyone's bubble, but it is a set of Jabba's goons from the Special Edition Scene of Episode IV.
-
I'd be on that like stink on poop... Absolutely zero disappointment there for me. Hell, I'd even be happy if they tossed in a couple slightly different shades of green Greedo repaints.

Don't even joke about that. I would love a set like that so much that I would tattoo "I love Hasbro and Entertainment Earth" on my forhead.

Be sure to do it backwards so you can read it in the mirror!
Aren't there some missing mini rig vehicles? A young boba fett, and something else that seemed to have disappeared before arrival at retail?
-
I love the idea of the Mando Transport (not a huge fan of the UBP possibility) or the Naboo BP being the exclusive item. Wishful thinking here, but a 7-pack or two would be awesome. The ones in the past were very cool, despite the minimal amount of new tooling.
-
One hint on their Tweet is that it is over $49.99...
-
Gentle Giant AT-AT bookends

Haha! This made me laugh! ;D
-
Your all wrong. It will be Master Pawlus.
-
That unproduced comic pack with white-suit X-Wing pilot Luke and kitbashed Bespin Han Solo.
Fields of Naboo battlepack set (packaged versions exist!)
-
I'm guessing some sort of multi-pack with 7 or so figures.

Clone Wars Bounty Hunter Multipack?
...and then I woke up.

Ouch.... I would LOVE to buy that!
It could also be Krell with a squad of 501st....

Mini-Bust of the Officer that takes Chewie's bowcaster in the Imperial Bunker on Endor... It's a piece to accompany the Lt. Renz busts at Scum. Get yours today in a dumpster somewhere near Dallas, I am told. :-X

So Renz and repeat? ;)
-
I am thinking it definitely has to be a cancelled item that EE picked up - so there are some great guesses in this thread. Hopefully Hasbro gave EE a good deal on it since, iirc, Hasbro kinda screwed over EE with the whole Mandalorian Shuttle fiasco which lead to EE cancelling a lot of orders.

Maybe they will make it up to them with the Mandalorian Shuttle?

I trust everyone figured out from the clues today that it's the Tonnika Sisters.

Where are the clues??

Where are you guys seeing clues, or any indication that there is an exclusive coming? I haven't noticed it on any of the sites.
-
Go to Twitter and follow @entearth to see EE's twitter posts.
The only real clues I've found are that it is not going to be in TVC packaging and it will be priced higher than $50. I think that should rule out Tonnika Sisters or Mando Shuttles...I'll be kind of disgusted if those go for that kind of cash. I do think a 6 or 7 figure set would make a lot of sense, but I have no idea what they would focus on right now. Maybe something from the Star Wars 1313 video game?

Ah, thanks. I'll check it out.

My recollection from CVI was that Hasbro claimed to be "disappointed" that EE elected NOT to accept orders on these or something to that effect. Like, they were ready to provide product and EE backed out at the last minute, or balked at the minimum orders or something.
So the distinct implication was that it was a decision by EE, not Hasbro, that ended up being responsible for all those canceled orders. (mine included)
I'm all for the rumored idea of re-releasing the shuttle as a UBP with a squad of Mandos and maybe another ship to help fill things out. That would certainly push it past the $50 mark.
Better not be some damn Fighter Pod thing is all I know!
-
Now that Dressel's built up the hype (for me, at least) about Tonnika sisters, I'm going to be pissed if it's anything but. :-\
-
There's been no clue that it's Tonnika's that I recall... I think he was just adding to the fun of the thread. :-X :-*
$49.99+ for 2 figures would PROBABLY, as much as the diehards say they want them, raise quite a **** fit over the price. Part of me would almost enjoy the anarchy that would ensue among the collector community.
With the price, I kind of think people might be right on the ultimate battlepack thingie... not sure what it would hold but that's a bit of a high price for just figures.
It's also quite plausible it's not from Hasbro at all, as has already been noted in here, so it could be a bust, or a GG item, or whatever.

Don't tease, especially on such iconic, if not X-files-esque mysterious, hold-outs of the line such as these two space hookers! That said, after pronouncing myself more than willing to drop $25 on Jocasta, considering she's one of the few minor (speaking) characters left to be made, I certainly have to be willing to stomach the same amount for 2 far more "important" OT characters remaining from one of our favorite scenes (especially from an action figure / diorama standpoint). I'd definitely be disgusted by the price again, but I'd still drop $50 x2 in a heartbeat for a couple pairs of these ladies that I never expected to see the light of plastic (that doesn't make sense, I know). Hell, if they never get made, I'll probably be dropping $75 - $100 on nice customs for each one just to fill the gaping Cantina holes anyway, much like I used to in the post-Kenner days of the vintage line (Sandtrooper, Tarkin, Slave Leia, etc). So even at a ridiculously lofty $50 a pop, I'll still be saving money.
I'd still prefer my aformentioned Disney astromechs though. I just wish EE would hurry up and at least divulge the licensee so we could could move on from all this (hopeful) figure speculation, if it winds up "just" being a Gentle Giant product instead.
Here's one more thought on the potential Tonnika Sisters: What if they came with the Cantina's distillery section finally... That'd be a much easier $50 to stomach, eh? 8)

Mystery solved (http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=GE80238#.UFBbz0I0o21)
-
Weak. Not even remotely tempted. Jocasta Nu I will have to get though.
-
Animated Scout and Ewok Maquette (http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=GE80238#.UFBbz0I0o21)
-
Pass. It was fun while it lasted.
-
lol - it is funny/cool looking - but I generally don't do statues
-
Piss.
I mean, pass.
Or maybe, I do mean piss.
-
LAME...i foresee a future clearance on these already. It's Lt Renz all over again!
-
As someone noted on facebook, the ewoks have too many fingers :(
-
Gentle Giant lost my business a while back, so this is a very easy pass for me.
-
Not surprised at all that it isn't a Hasbro item.
I saw this in the latest SW Insider weeks ago in an ad for Gentle Giant. Didn't say anything about it being an exclusive. Not knowing (or caring) about GG stuff I didn't known it was something that hadn't been revealed before. If I had I would have scanned it and reported it.
-
It was at C6 as well...no word on it being exclusive there either.
-
I'll wait for the Shadow Scout Trooper repaint. Ha!
Never saw the appeal of statue stuff.
-
I dig high-end stuff, not that I buy much of it, but not animated stuff... Make something realistic ala mythos and I find it more interesting, personally, but that's just me.
Yeah, no Hasbro. At the price, and the state of current things with the hobby, I kind of wasn't expecting a Hasbro item actually. So I'm not really surprised.
-

Yeesh. Well, I like it. I liked the Boba Fett with Carbonite we sold out of too, but generally I like things when they're tailored to my tastes. :)
-
Well, I like it.
That's not surprising.
Easy pass, almost as easy to pass up as the upcoming exclusive old-bitty figure (Jocasta).

I like it too...I have all of the OT Maquettes and they display really well
-
That's pretty lame. The ewoks looks like Disney Vinylmation. I hope EE didn't order very many of those. Majorly disappointed.
-
I don't collect statues, but that is pretty neat.
-
Bleh. This thread should've been locked after the first post! Get all our hopes up like that. Animated Ewoks... Argh!
Adam: Tonnika Sisters and/or Disney astromechs next time, please. Thank you.
-
lame. Talk about leftovers.
-
This is up for sale right now for PGM...$99 + shipping
-
On sale at EE for $55 with free shipping
