Good incentive on their end to clear out old product to those not in the know.   :-\

That and $4.50 figures.

Man - so now, for $4.50 I can get a figure with primo articulation, a droid part, and basically a lottery-ish type feel that I may actually win something (who knows if something was actually done to those figures or not).

In a couple of months for $8 I will just be getting the figure with primo articulation...    ???

I didn't know where else to put this - and I haven't seen it posted on anywhere else yet so I thought I would share with you what I found while hunting today.  sorry if ths isnt new news

This is a new sticker that all of the Legacy figures have on them at my local Walmart in Mishawaka, IN.  They were not on the figures yesterday so I am thinking a Hasbro rep went in and slapped 'em on (which makes me question how I can instantly win on figures that were already in the store).

Anyway, I peeled the sticker off so I could share with you all - I took a picture of a figure with the sticker on the packaging in store but it came out crappy so I just decided to scan in the sticker I took.  When I removed the sticker you can see the mail away promo peeled off the package and is stuck onto the new sticker.

edit:  fyi incase it matters - all of the figures were that had stickers were Legacy ESB wave - none of the clone wars or saga legends had stickers.

edit x2:  just went to the website http://hasbro.promotions.com/swpromotix/page.do?page=splash.html and it is up and running

Fun article - aside from the Flagg, I had most all others on that list.  The two I didn't have as a child were the Whale and the Rattler.  Thanks to the 25th line Target exclusive I now have the Rattler.  The Whale was something I always really liked the design of - oh well, maybe someday.

Probably the one I had the most fun with on that list was the Moray.  Yeah it was cool and all to make swooshing sounds through the air with the Night Raven and the Skystriker - but I cannot even tell you how many times I had GI Joe vs. Cobra battles in the hot tub growing up.  You should see the screws in the backs of all my Joe toys...

just saw that the Hulkbuster wave is up for preorder on HTS - unfortunately Hulkbuster is already sold out.

No worries from me though - I am fully expecting being able to find this at retail.

I really dig:

Legacy Gungan Warrior - he just looks like an excellent representation of the figure - also his articulation is so well done and well hidden.
VTAC Snowtrooper
Vintage Style Bossk
Vintage Style IG-88
HK-47/50 - they are also great representations of their figures imo

I am sure there are plenty more - these are the ones popping into my head right now.

looked him up on Wookiepedia since I cannot see the pic at work - pretty interesting looking pics of this guy.

Doesn't this, along with Jodo, go against the we are taking a step back EU because collectors don't want EU statement?

MarvelousNews has carded and loose pics of two new comic packs: Cyclops/Phoenix and Dark Spidey/Dark Wolverine. Might get Cyclops and Phoenix but Spidey and Wolverine repaints are the last thing this line needs.

Also I too haven't seen restocks of ANY Marvel product since the Iron Man 2 line hit shelves. What gives?

I thought the spiderman/venom was new - he looks bulkier.

as for the lack of product - my guess is Hasbro is being smart on delaying putting the product out so we spend all of our nickels on Iron Man while there is nothing new available in their other lines.

Just FYI - for those of you living in range of a Meijer store - I visited one in Mishawaka, Indiana two days ago and they are already starting to clearance Legacy items - some down to 50% off.

Battle Packs were $12.50 - I finally grabbed the Gelgarub pack - it wasn't worth it to me at the MSRP - unfortunately I already have all the other BP's I would want.
Y-Wing/Shadow Arcs were $33 - I grabbed the Y-wing

other than that comic packs were only marked down to $11 and change

Blasters both the small trooper style and the commander style were marked down 50% off - $10 and $20 respectively. Also the Rex helmet was half off - I believe down to $20

there may be other things clearanced but that is all I believe seeing - also I am pretty sure Meijer does clearancing corporate wide, not store to store - but I could be wrong

Awesome - I want one of each from that case - gonna hit em up after work and cross my fingers!

update:

TRU - strike 1
WM - strike 2
Target - strike 3

I'm out

Oh well, these will show up soon - I don't even think TRU put out what was on the truck from today so who knows what tomorrow will bring should I be moved to make a return trip.

yar - the scanners at TRU say "sale ends 7/3/10"

I got around to opening the Crimson Hydra last night from this line and I am not certain why, but I am not liking this one as much a I like the Cobra Hummer ride or the Gunship that I have opened so far.  Perhaps it was because it seemed like it took forever and a day to put the stickers on...  (I don't really care too much for sticker application process)  The cockpit hatch, or whatever you call it, on my Hydra doesn't snap shut - so it is always flopping open and that is pretty annoying.

I still have to open the Ice Dagger from this line and I have on order being shipped as I write this the Dragnhawk.  I am pretty excited about the Dragnhawk - but that might be only because of the Resolute style Wild Bill.

I think my missing accessories question I posted above was adequately answered from the showing at Joe Con.  But my Zartan head style question is still up in the air imo

I am going to rewrite it a little adding what we saw at Joe Con

We understand that you will no longer be using the Tatum likeness for Duke in the P.O.C. line and a new headsculpt was on display at Toy Fair.  However, the Zartan on display at Toy Fair was still using the "Rise of Cobra" head with the likeness of Arnold Vosloo and his clothes had "desert worn" paint apps, yet in your slide show the "Pursuit of Cobra" Zartan was shown with more of a Resolute style headsculpt with very clean paint apps.  Then as recently as Joe Con he was shown on display once again with the R.O.C. style head and "desert worn" paint apps.  Which head sculpt and paint apps will the "Purstuit of Cobra" Zartan be using when he shows up at retail?
