Post by: Phrubruh on June 18, 2008, 10:47 AM
See what happens when you park your AT-AT in East L.A. overnight.

This guy is up for auction at Christies.

I'm surprised the legs weren't stolen.

If you've ever seen a guy in a Boba Fett costume with gold chains, a boombox and a turntable backpack, that's the guy that made this.  He's a very cool, NY based superfan and I had the pleasure of flying back from Celebration 2 with him.

That's pretty cool. Reminds me of the Vader helmet exhibit.

That's exactly what I thought.

It would be cool to see another exhibit like this.

Hmm, JD forumites and admin, could this be something WE could do?

I know I have two extra AT-ATs that I could paint up. And old beat up AT-ATs may be found for cheap on eBay (I haven't checked, I'm just speculating).

Would be a cool website project and would gain more noteriety for the site.

I'd be lying if I said the same thought hadn't crossed my mind.

I liked the paint by numbers Vader helmet, it of course only came with one color paint.

Cool looking walker.

I could have sworn I commented on this...oh well.

That looks amazing...such a fun and well executed idea.
