Maintaining my role as a wet blanket: still not posted on HLJ.com

I guess you bugged them enough... DX Series 3 :P

12k Yen works out to about $158 with current xchange rates. Think I'll grab a box...

In stock at HLJ!  Got my shipping notice early this AM!   :)

Anyone else think that some of those DX3 complete set sales looked a little bogey? I find it hard to believe that the same seller had 4/5 complete sets all of which sold in such a short space of time for such high amounts...

I'm also surprised that we haven't seen a Hammerhead up on eBay yet...I really hope these chases are more avaibable than the DX2 chases...the last thing this line needs is another AT-ST driver.

Not at all, dealers on eBay buy Master Cases all the time... that's how they make there coin completing sets... put 1 up for $500. & it's bin'd then another set $100. more & bin'd & up the price again... it's the norm... as for Hammerhead, think he is the AT-ST driver all over again... Japan release vs Honk Kong release... good luck on the chases gang... my complete set is on the way...  ;D

Can anyone tell me the shipping cost on their HLJ order?  The site says about $25 for fed ex estimated.  I ordered 2 boxes and the shipping is like $52, which is lame because the sit says shipping will likely be 20-40% lower with multiple items.

Also, does HLJ take credit cards?  They are requesting paypal payment.

Not yet Justin.  My order is being processed and will be shipped in the next couple of days.  So no idea yet on shipping cost.  Not clear why they're asking for paypal either, mine is going through with credit card, as it always had.

I was charged what they listed for FedEx shipping - 1,964 JPY.

Also, does HLJ take credit cards?  They are requesting paypal payment.

My credit card was tagged with an authorization last night and they shipped my box so it must have gone through...

I heard back tonight.  They reduced my shipping to 3,865 yen, which saves me about a buck.  Oh well.  They also said I could pay by CC if I went to the site and created a profile.  I just sent off paypal instead to get it complete and on the way.  Too bad I misjudged the shipping...I have sold off my extras but if I don't get a chase I just paid $140 for a set of 6 figs.  Ugh.

Hammerhead is even worse than the AT-ST driver. At least that dude had the decency to show up on ebay outside of complete sets! (although he didn't have the decency to be sensibly priced). So far we've had two ebay sellers sell three complete sets each. Now nothing  :(

This is the big downside to the DX series I think.

these things just came out.

They've been out long enough for any ebay business sellers.

Do we have any confirmation that Hammerhead and the AT-ST driver are Japanese exclusives? (A bit like the Cantina band member) If so I guess the Hong Kong sellers with full sets imported Japanese master cases.

While I agree that some ebay sellers obviously have them already I think Justin's point is correct - these things are "just out" so it's way too early to think any information we have is anything other than speculation based on past history.  HLJ.com, a Japanese based online retailer only got their shipment within the last several days.  I assume other retailers could have had them a little sooner but it's only been about a week at most since we've seen "in hand" auctions.

My suspicion is that the ebay sellers are bulk purchasers that may be able to go directly through Medicom and probably pick up their shipment rather than waiting for delivery.  Six complete sets is hardly enough to warrant a panic about anything yet.  Most of the cases/boxes are still in transit I would think.
