Did we ever figure out if Jawa/Logray was a HK/Jap variation?
My memory is shot  ???

I pulled a VC Jawa from a box from hlj.com.  I would guees hlj would get their boxes from a Japanese distributor, and I believe Padawan pulled a Logray from Spanky's.  I'm not sure where Spanky gets his distrubution from but it is a Japanese site.  I think that the Logray/Jawa chases may have been evenly distributed between HK/JP.  We could have seen more Jawas than Lograys because people were more willing to sell a variant (VC Jawa) and a unique figure (Logray).  At least thats what I think.

So it appears that Luke as Darth Vader to be the 1:48 and the Han Solo Stormtrooper to be the 3:48?  This makes sense can anyone confirm this?

Wait though...is that the regular version?

I believe it is since the Vader mask is not broken.

I think HLJ is not filled with fools.  I think they know which boxes to ship out as single boxes of 12 and which to retain otherwise.

I purchased 1 box of 12 from HLJ and I pulled a VC Jawa.  I don't think HLJ goes through master cases and sift out the one with chases.  That would not be good karma.

I'm trying my luck again as I order  a single box of 12.  ;D

Hello,

My wife and I got back from BK, and I scored TWO Darth Vaders! ;D  The guy was real nice he gave me the box to look through I grabbed the Falcon and the guy asks me if I want Darth Vader.  Of course I say yes and he goes to the back and brings me one, then my lovely wife asks for one too and he goes back to the back and brings another.

The Vaders are indeed 5 in one box.  In one box there are 5 different bags of toys (plush, wind-up, pull-backs, squirters, and image viewers) and in each bag there is 1 Darth Vader.

So it seems someone at BK opened all the bags and pulled out the Darth Vaders.  I'm going back next Thursday because thats the day the guy said they expect another shipment.  If I come across another Vader I'll let you guys know.

Here is a complete checklist. Marvel Super Heroes Series 1 has Two Chases, Dr. Doom 3/96 and the What If...Venom/Punisher 1/96.

Also, can anyone tell me a good place to get series 1,2 and 3, and what would be decent prices for the whole lots, including chases?

I believe eBay is your best bet, there is a seller by the name of boondockcollectables (or something like that) he has marvel series 1-3 up every couple of months.  As for the price i have seen Venom/Punisher go for as little as $40 to as high as $200.

hope that helps.  ;D

Hello all,

I am new here, I just received my order from HLJ (i ordered one box) and would like to report that I got a chase in my box.

Using Padawan's scheme of describing placement of the Kubricks..
1 2 3 is the back of the box, 10 11 12 is the front.

1.   Carbon Han
2.   Carbon Han
3.   Carbon Han
4.   Wicket
5.   Wicket
6.   Wicket
7.   Lando
8.   Jawa
9.   Jawa
10. At-At Driver
11. Vintage Jawa   :)
12. C-3PO

I don't remember is Padawan also Ordered from HLJ, but is so then
it seems that Logray and the Vinly Jawa are 1:48 repectively and the Vintage Jawa isn't just a variant a la Cantina Band Member.
