Also I find it odd that Vince Carter had 2 Luke and 2 Han as Stormtrooper chases up for auction.  Unless he ripped through 16 cases of 12, it sounds to me like they are still going to be 4:48.  Maybe you even get 2 Lukes and 2 Hans per master case.  That would be really awesome.   8)

Just observing Yahoo Japan, there are about 10 Luke/Vader's, 20 Han Stormies and only 5 Luke Stormies. And there is not one ratio mentioned on any of the auctions. Of course they know, but they are not letting on. Time will tell if the numbers even out. I'd say most of the HK sellers are gambling on what they see from Yahoo Auctions so that is why they are changing their prices. Alot of the photos they have are stolen from Yahoo Japan, so probably only a few of them have any in hand now to know what the ratios are.

That looks real good, I hope you hit the nail on the head with that.  Even better IF the box breakdown was....
BOX 1 : Darth Vader CHASE
BOX 2 : 2 Luke Chases
BOX 3 : 2 Han Chases
BOX 4 : Regular set.

That way one would have a 75% chance of getting a chase by buying one box  ;D

Nice score Tony.  I clicked on and went meh, big deal at first, it's the same price as I paid for the Han hibernation.  Then I scrolled down to see the entire set as well :o  Excellent work.  

I noticed a seller firing off lots of $0.99 BINs last night on singles from that series.  Patience is clearly beneficial.

OK, now that I will probably need 3 different Vaders (4 with the chase), and Stormies are always cool for army building, it looks like I'm probably going to go for a box of 12.  Anyone know who's got the best price on one?  I've never bought by the box before, and don't want to scroll through a bajillion posts to find out.  HLJ?  Or does anyone here have an extra box they need to ditch (for a reasonable price)?

There are a few of these auctions out there now...  $320 is about $100 more than the Series 3 sets were going for!   :-\

Yeah, but much more highly desirable chase pieces in series 4 plus more desirable regulars, at least to me.  The $300 is tempting.  If Vader is 1/48 he'll stick close to $100.  I expect the stormie twins to run around $30-50 after all is said and done and I expect the series to hold better value than Series 3 has, though it'll still settle out fairly cheap.  So it's about $50 overvalued depending on what you consider fair for a set of regulars.  They're about $7-8 each from HLJ after shipping, so about $50 for the set at full retail.  Hmm....

PS.  I just caved and spent $275 (shipping included) for a full set of 9 from one of my contacts.  (Someone I trust.)  Had about $200 set aside for them and moved stuff around to manage the other 75.  I figured if I don't buy 'em now, I'll use up that cash on stupid things like living expenses.  LOL

Now it's all about waiting for that Postman every day and giving him my 'excited doggy' impression.  LOL

Got the email today mine will be shipped out.
So Beer & Brick Fest 2005 will commence shortly after getting our master case  ;D

Above my price too.
I figure 100 for Vader, 40-50 each for the Han & Luke and 50 for the set is
what I would pay if I weren`t getting a case.
Still kinda high, but I would be OK with it.
