I went forever without finding this guy, but everyone else in that wave.  Then over the course of just about 2 short weeks at Target, I scored 6 on 2 separate occasions and then I found 2 a couple times.  Then when it seemed that no more were being put out on the shelves, I found about 3 more at Toys 'R' Us.

So I think I have about 19.

I never saw them at KMart, Walmart, or KB Toys.

I went on a toy run this morning, and I am disturbed.

At Walmart, the planograms are being redone.  I saw the blueprint hanging up in each 4 foot section.  At the Star Wars section, bad things are happening.  The planogram called for 2 vertical rows of pegs for Star Wars, the one on the left is Force Battlers, and the one on the right is Galactic Heroes.  They are surrounded by Attacktix and those crappy little plastic lightsabers.  There is no spot on the planogram for Basic Saga 3 3/4" figures!!  The planogram was done, and no peg hooks were put out for them either, and it looked exactly like the blueprint.

Now before the planogram was redone, I did see some SAGA figs hanging on pegs at Walmart randomly by EIII figures, but they are all sold out now and there's no spot on the shelf to put any more.

Has anyone else observed this at their Walmart?

I was kinda counting on them with Target, Toys 'R' Us and KB Toys charging 6.88, 6.99, and 7.99 respectively.

I got to see Veers, Snowtrooper, Power droid, Vader and R2 first hand last night

Ha ha!  It sounds like an exalted gracious scalper granted us peeons permission to see these great rare precious items.

There's something wrong when you find a new wave of figures and can't even buy them because they're marked up 3x the normal amount.

And what really gets me, is that there are some stupid people out there that pay it.  If nobody paid these ridiculous prices, the scalpers would absolutely stop wasting there time screwing around in our hobby.

Gungans don't suck Brent...  People who like Gungans suck.

Right Jesse, that's one situation where you have to hate the game, not the player.

I'd rank Naboo behind Hoth and Impy though.  The Hoth set gave you the droid, the open bellie Taun Taun...  It was just better IMO, and the Imp one was great besides Vader.

The Hoth pack has gotta get knocked down a notch due to the exclusive price tag.  In the Naboo pack, we got the red naboo security guard which was quite a difficult find, and the gungan warrior which was a decently hard find.

Original Trilogy Collection / Re: tie fighter pilot???

The OTC TIE pilot is in a different league than the 1995 POTF2 release.  The OTC version is articulated everywhere, has a superior scale and sculpt, and is probably a top 30 figure ever made, maybe higher.  I see people can put pictures in their posts and I wanted to put them side by side here, but I haven't figured out how yet.  The moral of the story is, get some OTC pilots, they really rock.

All of the EIII figures are ringing up $4.00 at my Walmarts.  It's mostly a ton of Darth Vader, Mas Amedda, Polis Massan, but there are a few Shock Troops and Super Articulated Clone #41 mixed in there as well.  I have seen no EIII figures left at any of my 4 Targets.

I agree, as far as I know Hasbro's Star Wars line was announced recently as the #1 selling toy line.  Why the section is being scaled down to single digit pegs really doesn't make sense to me.  If you're not going to have a lot of the #1 selling line on your shelf, what do you want to put there?

LEGO / Re: Hole. E. ****.

Holy crap.  So $31,000 for a 35,000 piece LEGO rebel attack cruiser, that's almost $1 per LEGO piece!!  Ha ha, let's hope that this thing never falls apart, putting it back together could prove to be an exercise in futility.  The nice thing about this auction, even though the buyer could have had a damn nice car instead of an 8 foot LEGO rocket ship, is that the proceeds went to charity entirely.

The arms are articulated at the elbows and wrists - there is some shoulder articulation too, but the robe covers most of it.

There is bicep articulation on my figure as well, right where the arm meets the robe, it rotates 360 degrees.  This is in addition to the shoulder, elbow, and wrist.

Let me be the first to say that the Bib fig was a HUGE letdown for me.  Its pretty much a statue.  It looks nice but there is no poseability :(

I agree and I think that maybe there is a little too much "material" (twileki fat) under his chin?  Meh, it's okay but I was expecting a little better.

Sorry if this has been mentioned... but does anyone think we might see color variants on the Commando?

 :P

If the #6 clone and SA clone being re-released as shock troopers, 501st, and Utapau clone are any indication, I'd say we're gonna see them within a year's time.  I can't see Hasbro just releasing 1 of the 4 Republic Commandos.  At least, let's hope!  Having all 4 of these guys will rock.

It looks like WalMart and Target both have 8 pegs each for Saga figures.  Obviously, both represent HUGE downscales from what they had in EIII, which was to be expected I guess.  It won't be long before the Saga repacks are jamming the few pegs that the stores have, while the new figures are gone.

The new figures have turned up in WalMart and Target here.  The prices at Target are 6.99 and at Walmart 5.99.  I bought Bib, Leia Boushh and Han Carbonite but did not buy any of the repacks, and that will probably be my policy for the Saga figures.
