I do love my clones Jon. ;D

Thanks a hundred million for the Shadowtrooper hook up. I really appreciate you keeping me in mind when stuff like that comes around!

One of the worst movies I've ever seen, personally, and I've seen a lot. I personally don't care if Burton's invisioning was closer to the book, I just thought it was a bad movie. From Johnny Depp's uncomfortable portrayal, to the Oompa Loompa's gaudy, multi-colored plastic suits, to the ridiculous kiddie hip hop musical numbers.

I take it you're not a big Oingo Boingo or Danny Elfman fan then...

Those dance/music numbers were the best part of the movie - they were hilarious.

I'm going to have to agree with you there Rob. Deep Roy went up about a thoushand points in my book for pulling those off so well.

I just bought the DVD today, it's going to be great to sit down and enjoy it with my wife and Daughters.

The thing about the movie that surprised me, having never read the book, is that after sitting though the first 80 minutes wondering about Depp's performance and Burton's take on the character, it pays off for me in the closing scenes. The character was a bit of a goof, but in the end Charlie was able to reach him and change him. I like that in a movie, no matter how cliche.

I think the figure I'm most looking forward to is Sora Bulq. The commando looks like he could be cool, but he also looks a little too right out of the video game. I'm going to have to wait to see some side by sides with a normal clone.

Dissapointed in the lack of Clone Trooper as well, but Sun Fac looks surpisingly nice.

After opening this guy up, I have to say that I'm a little dissapointed. I like the paint job, but, I think the #41 torso doesn't work well with the head they're using.

I agree.  The amazing thing is, I know there are people out there who disagree.

 :P

I'm not one of them. Great idea.

I will have to buy Charlie and the Chocolate factory for my Daughter. Not that I don't want to have it in the collection, it's just that she very adamant about it.

I'm glad she loves both versions though.

I'm finding them more and more as well. I'm sure the previous scarcity had a lot to do with the fact that they were under produced based on the sluggish sales of the CW Gunship. Now that we're seeing them again, I have a feeling they going to start sitting.

Great artical.

You know, I forget that people actually like this movie. When I saw it in the theater, everyone else I saw it with hated it. Took a long time for me to convince those people to see another movie I recomended. :P  I thought is was brilliant, especially with it's near perfect cast. (come on, Ron Livingston, Gary Cole, Stephen Root, Diedrich Bader and John C. McGinley all in one movie!) It also put Ajay Naidu on my radar.

I can really sympathize with Mike Judge on this. Office Space is the perfect example where the studio messes thing up in one way or the other and I respect Judge for not bending over and taking it. I think if the average Joe on the street knew all the behind the scenes, they would appretiate his work even more.

Went in and out of stock yesterday as well. Again, I tried to order more, but by the time I clicked to order, it was gone.
