Title: Dagobah R2-D2
Post by: CloneF13Y35 on October 19, 2004, 04:53 PM
Didn't see a review of this one, so hope it's not a duplicate.
This is one cool version of the droid. Got him for my kid so you know it's for playing with. The design is pretty good as far as the sculpting goes. The sound fx are fun, press and hold for the 'Scream' or press slightly for various R2 sounds. Very cool.
The mud wash is pretty extensive so he does look like he's been dumped in a swamp. Only minor critique is the soft rubber legs.
Over all I give him a 4 outta 5 stars.  :)

Duplicates allowed Clone, so no biggie.

I like Dag. R2 as well...  Not got a full review going on him yet while we clear out some older ones here at JD.com, but in good time he should be up.

I'll say that he's a nice replacement for the pack-in that came with the Red 5 X-Wing a short time ago.  That, was not a spiffy version.  The light-up feature's nice too, even if the figure's mostly a reused mold.

Its a good fig, lots of different sounds to play around with.

Heres a link to my review of the fig, and a pic too, Dagobah R2 (http://www.imperialoutpost.co.uk/view_print.php?pid=31)
