Saw U2 3D while I was in nashville.  Wow, it was very cool.  The effects are quite good and the concert was a nice collection of oldies and new songs from Atomic Bomb.  I've never been a big fan of Bullet the Blue Sky, but it was quite the production in the film.

I'm back now.  Glad to be.

Saw a great band in Printer's Alley too.  Rock from the 70s and 80's.  Lead singer had a voice that was a ringer for steve Perry.  He knocked the hell out of Don't Stop Believin'.

Thanks.  Couldn;t find Wildcats, but I did hit up Coyote Ugly for 5 minutes.  Pretty lame.  Had a great time in the honkytonks - Robert's was my fave.

April 4 was the date in EW.  10 episodes.  I am guessing there are another 10 after that - supposed to be a full season of 20.

Thanks.  Sounds like some good suggestions.  I'll let you know what I try.

Ideas?  I am staying at the Opryland Resort.

It never fails, any time these movies are on TV, I can't not watch them.

The Thomas Crown Affair (Pierce Brosnan)
Fletch
Cool Hand Luke
High Fidelity
Rounders
The Replacements (Keanu Reeves)

Tommy Boy is like that for me.

I have a Costanza easily.  been ribbed about it ever since Seinfeld came out.

While I liked Bruce from the Born in the USA days, I never really got into him until 1992.  I was stuck in traffic and our local radio station played a five pack of songs.  Started with Brilliant Disguise.  Something clicked and he became one of my all time favorite artists.  I have seen him almost every chance i get, but none will be as memorable as seeing him from the first couple of rows in Berlin in May 1993. He played for hours and I still have vivid memories of 50,000 Germans singing Born in the USA.  It was my first Bruce show and likely the best I will ever see.  But my first E STREET concert was awesome as well.

Recently - Music and Lyrics - seems like Hugh Grant has shown up a few times in here.

There is also something compelling about A Walk to Remember - the Mandy Moore vehicle.

And at the risk of getting flamed, I actually watched My Girl to see McCauley Culkin die and actually was emotionally moved by it.  Karma is a bitch.

This is a thread that shouldn't have gone dormant.

Abba and Neil Diamond are two in the music world that I can't help but like.

Broadway musicals are another.  Even obscure ones.

It seems that the band, Eno and Lanois are all going for something "different" and U2 has always been their best when experimenting!

While I still like Zooropa and Pop a fair amount, it might have been a bit too much experimenting for most.

But they have earned the right to do whatever they want and I will give it a fair shake.  I usually come around.

Did Goose choose the Yankees for his hat?

The player doesn't choose the hat, the Hall of Fame does.  And I'd imagine he'd go in as a Yankee.

I thought they got to express a preference at least.

What a strange season.  Painful for me personally to watch my team suck worse than possibly imagined.  But hope springs eternal with national signing day around the corner.

I am in the camp that the Twins should trade Santana or give him a market extension.  Losing him for compensatory picks is not an option.
