I don't know if anyone even cares about these anymore, but I've heard from a few JD readers that the Target Exclusive Mustafar Darth Vader figure (DPCI# 087-06-1800) has started hitting Targets on the West Coast...

Eventually though...  ;)

I remember reading someplace that a few folks were hoping that would be the case when he was revealed at SDCC.  I'm sure glad to see it still looks that way... and especially glad it's not that AT-TE sculpt again.

Hasbro has a nice update today that features 17 of the last 22...

Not much new but nice to get some "official" names for them.

Didn't JD ask those same exact questions like a month ago, and get like the typical, noncommital "no plans at this time" response?

Pretty much... two months ago on one of them.

Do you plan on getting to the remaining figures from the Kenner Vintage line that have not yet been given a modern sculpt update? (These include Jabba's Palace Klaatu, Lumat, Romba, Warok, Black Bespin Guard, Imperial Commander, Death Squad Commander, B-Wing Pilot, and more). (JD, 6/30/06)

We're still working out all the details for the 2007 line, so we will not be announcing the specific figures until the Fall. Be sure to ask again in a few months!

With the all new SA Biker Scout (Kudos to you Hasbro, that's some super fine work you did), fans are now anxious to know if an all new Speederbike is in the works? The original's sculpt is detailed, however the bike isn't particularly sturdy and it's a bit oversized. A smaller (properly scaled) bike with maybe a clear stand for a hovering effect would be incredibly popular given how many Biker Scouts a lot of us own I'd imagine. (JD, 7/26/06)

Interesting idea. We don't have a new one in the works, but if we do a new bike, we'll take your feedback into account.

Maybe they are taking Hasbro at their word and just doing the "ask again in a few months" bit?   :P

Hey Hasbro! / Re: Questions for Hasbro?
« on: September 1, 2006, 11:59 AM »
I was just wondering if Hasbro will ever consider resculpting Uncle Owen and add both of those droids LIN-V8K and the Umbrella Droid?  That would go a long way for helping us complete that little scene now that we have a decent R5-D4.  I think now we do have C-3PO, R2-D2, Jawas, Uncle Owen (not a good sculpt), and that tall droid R1-G4.

Hasbro has already said that there are no plans for Owen ("We're not planning a new sculpt at this time"), but the droids are possible ("Stay tuned. We really like Droids too, and this iconic scene, but won't do them all at once").

I loved the Evolutions 3 packs released last year. Are there any plans to do more? I think Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Han Solo would be ideal!

Hasbro has already said "Evolutions still has a fond spot in our hearts.  If/when we have the ability and retail opportunity to bring that back, we will look at it, but there are no plans right now."

August...

$354.99  January
$240.39  February
$100.78  March
$111.68  April
$179.68  May
$112.07  June
$648.07  July

$451.33  August   :-\

Stuff I bought in the past month:
2006 Saga Endor Wave (5 carded and 4 openers)
2006 Saga Ep3 H&V Wave (1 carded)
2006 Saga Ep3 GB Wave (14 carded)
2006 Target Exclusive Skirmish in the Senate (2 openers)
Johnny Lightning Display Case (x5)
Carded Kubrick Sandtrooper (1 carded)
Carded Kubrick Bape Boba Fett (1 carded)
Shipping Expenses (Padded Mailers and Tape)

Well, I'm not sure what to think of the past month.

In August, I sold a lot of my old POTF2 duplicate/outdated loose figures.  I was using the cash I made in the sale to pay for the Hasbro stuff.  Things were going very well and I was actually running in the positive for the majority of the month.

Unfortunately though, my Kubrick weakness reared it's head in the last few days of the month.  I grabbed the two carded Kubricks and ended up with another expensive month.   :-[

I guess I'll call it a win because it could have been a lot worse...  :P

Well, I had a really good month (ie made some good $$ from selling off old loose POTF2 figures and excess Clones), so what did I do?  Yep...  spent the proceeds on something new.    ;)

clicky the pics for larger images!

That does it for the Carded Kubricks!  ;D

Just one more to go for total Kubrick Kompletion... I'm looking at you, chase Red Gauntlets Fett.   :P
