I really like the use of parts in these customs.  The Sabe head, the one from that animated space movie (looks pretty durn close to the reference, don't it!), and the Maul arms for your Moff.  One tip:  Once your premo/sculpey is cured, you can sand and shave it to give it a cleaner look.  Great Job!

Star Wars Action Figures / A couple of new customs...

I just finished these two today...my first in awhile.  Not too difficult or anything.  One is a Clone Wars Pacithip Jedi and the other is a unique Death Star Trooper with bendable knees for a diorama I am planning.

Thanks!

Hope I am not offending anyone, but I have some lots of figures on Ebay all starting at $0.99 with no reserve.  I am trying to clean out my customizing fodder and loose collection.

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Some of my Customs for you!

Yeah...Stupid AOL is always down!  Sorry about that second link.  Try back sometime.  Thanks for the comments guys.  That swoop is my fav.  It is one of my oldest customs.  FFURG wanted a recipe, but it is so convoluted that I couldn't write it!

It is the lighting in the Weequay pic...that is an old pic with too much incandescent light.  Recently, I started using the new GE Reveal bulbs that filter yellow/red light out.  The color is just about dead on to the movie in the actual custom...maybe the skin tone is a bit darker...

Thanks, guys!  I made some 30 Jedi for a diorama...but it got destroyed during a recent move...only the Jedi survived!  Plus, I love Jabba's cohorts and have almost enough for a diorama made now...we'll see if I can get that finished!   ;D

To get things started, here are the few customs I have posted on the web.  Some of you have probably seen these if you are from the Rebelscum listserv.  Any and all comments are appreciated!

I appreciate any customizer who gives deserved "face time" to any of the neglected aliens in the SW universe.  Dresselians are not my favs by far, but it seems like you took time and effort to make them unique and get rid of that darned eyepatch.  Good job!  As far as displaying/photographing them, I'd set up some colored background in the very least...the wall is very distracting.

Customs Community and Group Projects / Greetings, Fellow Customizers!

While I am not new to customizing, I am new to this Forum.  I've been on the Rebelscum Listserv for a few years now.  I was told that one of the reasons the list has been pretty dead is that most of the critiques and such happen in Forums like this one.  So here I am!
