Scum has pics of two new 3" ships, plus an "all empire" themed giftset with a raw Death Star.  This set looks quite nice compared to the last three.  Would anybody know if WM plans to pick this thing up as an exclusive again??  I would so not be happy...

These cases are available through eBay as well - I ordered a few to try them out.

So how well do they fit??  Or have you not received them yet....Inquiring Fetts want to know.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Long Term Storage Questions
« on: April 4, 2006, 10:36 AM »
I have no room where I'm currently living and I had both options of putting my entire collection in the attic or the basement.  With the elements in mind, there was no way I wanted to jepardize everything.  I have all my carded figs in Star Cases too, but I put them all in huge thick flower boxes - I heard issues about the "breathing" thing so I took this route.

If you have the space in your home, then by all means it should be taken advantage of, but I'm leary of the attic/basement issues - insects, rodents, heat, humidity.  I since decided to go the expensive route by putting everything in a climate controlled storage unit to make sure everything stays nice and dry.  I take a peek into various boxes every few months or so and so far there's been no problems - not that I'd see one arising.

My stuff has been in storage for over a year now. I won't boast about the size of my collection, but everything has been nice and kosher.  ;)

Just my 2 cents...

WM would have to get figures first to actually have a price to fluctuate. :)  I'm in awe that almost all of you have WM's selling figures, and Pittsburgh WM's don't have pegs for them...  I'm dead serious.  I don't know what happened.

Ahh, the days of shopping at WM and actually being able to find new SW figs.  I'd have to say for me, a freak encounter with the Hoth wave was the last that I found.  Prior to that was back when I found the E2 preview figs.

I hope that WM pulls a price cut, maybe that's what's been holding them off from putting new stock out?  At least here in the Twin Cities area.

I'm 28 as well and I still remember watching them on the Tracy Ulman show.  Loved it even though they looked pretty fugly back in the day compared to now.  I hardly watch the show as much as I would like, but I still get a kick out of it everytime I get around to watch.  Gotta love those Halloween specials too  ;D

Bring on the movie I say!!  Dare I ask if there's any computer animation in it?

Peter Jackson has made Director's Cuts of all his movies, sans "Meet the Feebles". All of which really didn't do much for the movies, except "Heavenly Creatures", which got a little racier, and "Braindead/Dead Alive", and those were distributor cuts. "The Frighteners" is up in the air.

Had no idea that PJ directed The Frightners - not that I paid attention to anyway.  Twas an oddball movie, but I always liked it for some reason.  Didn't they just release a SE of the movie a few months back?

Bib looks fantastic on the card as do all the TSC/OTC figs.  I'll chime back in a few years from now when/if I decide to open anything I have.

You are Darth Maul - There is no doubt you are mysterious, intimidating, and well trained, but are you a master or an apprentice?

Darth Maul 71%
Luke 69%
Yoda 68%
R2 66%
Boba Fett 65%
Vader 63%
Palpy 62%
Anakin 60%
Jabba 60%
3P0 58%

Maul works fine for me.  Fits my personality perfectly.

Okay, maybe I'm a bit confused here but it looks as if Palpy is using his force lightning on Yoda's cloak.  Suppose it can't work too well if Yoda isn't in it?  Maybe he's using some sort of force dry cleaning or something?

Sweet pics of the Scout on his bike Jeff!!  Now we just need a speeder bike that's proportioned so the nose doesn't sit so close to the ground - always frustrated me..

Wasn't the CW one redesigned with alternate "handlebars?"  Other than that though, it used the same mold, correct?

Sorry for not saying more about the trooper, but what more can you say than AWESOME!!  Always been my favorite trooper out of the OT and this new scuplt has been well deserved for quite some time now.

Anyone have anything they'd like to share with the group?

Looks like Chunky McFly hurled after he was done "dancing."

I'm referring to your avatar of course.   ;)

I prefer to keep the functions of my body personal.  Sorry.
