Why can't Nicolas Cage just die or something?

The franchise is coming to a slow death, with the final film over and the masses attention span quickly diverting from the SW hype, I think Lucasfilm is doing what every smart business would do- a last attempt to milk it dry for whatever revenue it’s worth… and why not.

Wasn’t Luke’s growing years super lame and boring? I mean other than blasting womp rats and fixing moisture vaporators… I thought the whole point of Star Wars was that Skywalker desperately wanted to escape his home planet to bigger things and adventure (same theme as American graffiti and THX) because his life was excruciatingly dull and uninspired… sounds pretty flaccid for a 100 hr. tv show, then again Lucas has shown no reservations about re-writing his old scripts.

Batman Begins was awesome, Nolan knew what he was doing- second best film of the year.
Behind what?

Sin City was a very gratifying movie; pretty darn perfect. Rutger Hauer’s having a good comeback as a character actor.

Worst casting choice since De Niro as frankenstein:

It’s definitely strange, even if you grew up salivating for these little figures and love them to death. It doesn’t make sense to me why someone would spend that kind of coin on mass produced items, when you can buy stuff like original art for considerably less. Sometime back a few Chaykin pages from issue five (if memory serves) were auctioned for about $600 each, and I’ve seen very nice Infantino pages go for 2-3 bills… Chirst, you can buy a nice Kirby for the price of that insane Imp. Commander. Even within toy collecting it’s obscenely disproportional- a nice 50’s Nomura Robby will set you back maybe half of what that Luke sold for.

Mostly 70’s lines- Matchbox M.A.C. and Fighting Furies, Mego 8”… a bit of Micronauts. Lots of Japanese diecast stuff- Popy, Bullmark, etc.
A set of Dune figures would be choice but clear bubbles are bloody difficult to find, so far I only have Sting with his Cornish Rex… or was it a Sphinx?
Used to have a set of Raiders and Super P’s but sold them for I is the Idiot King.

I just hope Charlie isn't such a goofball in this one.

That “Duck” with the “Truck” looks intriguing.

I have no idea about what this show's all 'bout. But I did see "Luther the Geek", which it was pretty o.k.

In this order:

1. Count Dooku- mainly because Christopher Lee is an outstanding actor, who I’ve admired since discovering Hammer films. It was disappointing to see him liquidated so quickly and in such a predictable fashion.

2. Darth Maul- as much as TMP blew, Maul was the closest thing to a good villain the prequels possessed, a good mix of Boba Fett (pre-prequels) mystique and Vader’s powerful, dark mastery of the force. The duel against the two Jedi was arguably the best lightsabre ballet of the three movies.

3. Obi Wan- Ewan McGregor delivered a surprisingly convincing interpretation of Alec Guinness’s memorable role.

Who cares, though- how much money it makes or how many people watch it, As long as you like it?

Once, and that'll be it, because it sucked.
