TV-9D9 / Re: Clone Wars Cartoon

I really have no doubt they'll be released on DVD. In fact, I am very much hoping they will be, as it will prolly be the only change getting to see them. I'm not a tv person, and I never make it to see somethign scheduled on TV. So I know I'll miss all the clone wars cartoons when they air most likely.
Yep, same for me.  I suspect they'll come out at some point on DVD.  Probably better marketing to get them out prior to Ep III but may be part of a big boxed set.  So long as I get them.

Darth C and I tried to work a trade but no go.  We didn't cancel because of shipping costs, I simply couldn't get what he needed.

I just wanted to say that the communication was first rate and he seems to be a great guy.  If I had anything he needed, I'd happily trade with him.  Welcome to JD.

If, somehow, John Bonham, George Harrison, John Lennon, Keith Moon, John Entwistle, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, and Jimi Hendrix were to rise from their graves tomorrow, reform with their old bands and announce a concert in Ohio, that's what it would probably take for me to drive all that way for a show.

Interesting way of stating your musical tastes.  I'm there though if they all crawl out.  Not sure if you would include it, but if Morrison made it out of the earth, that could be an entertaining show too (providing you're in the same state of mind).

Heh, even you Bob?  Even YOU?  I'll be burying this topic when the wife comes home.  Why do you think the title is a little more cryptic that DO YOU SNEAK TOYS? ;D

Not that what happens there is any of my business, but I think that an association of the admins and that forum with Nazis, regardless of their behaviour is, in the very least, in poor taste.  All places have their respective politics and having worked for both the federal and provincial governments over the past 10 years, a lack of explanation is the norm, rather than the exception.

I readily agree that Philips decision is strange and probably unneccessary and the lack of an open discussion and explanation lacks in both tact and respect for the members.

That said, I am extremely dissappointed in anyone that associates the decisions made on a bloody toy board with the heinous crimes perpetrated against humanity by the Nazis.  Trading toys has absolutely freaking zero to do with the slaughter of human beings.  I would hope people could see the difference and be somewhat mature about it.  Were I Philip, I would ban anyone making that association for life, not just for a short time.

Again, fine line between fishing and sitting there looking like... :P :-*

Just kidding.  One thing that fishing is great for is getting to know your kid.  My dad took me lots and I did enjoy it then.

Base-schmase.  Not like I'm going to go hunting for a third MOTDS (well, that might be a little white lie).  Just happy to have those figs, if the Vader is indeed true.  Make for a nice display similar to how I do my McFarlane stuff with carded in back, loose in front.

I REALLY like the cardbacks on these new figures.  I just hope they aren't released in Canada as we never end up with the picture backs like that, just three languages of warnings ::)
