Don't remind me.  I tried to make smart choices, use logic, avoid injury risks and uncertain situations... I came really close to pulling the trigger on LT but thought that LJ was an absolute monster and wouldn't have much trouble sustaining numbers like he did last year.

There's still plenty of time left and I do have a good team on paper, it's just not working out this year so far.

Oh well.

I just want to repeat though even with the whole page 12/13 debate and the way it's going for Rob, if he were to rattle off 7 wins in the next 8 games, wouldn't shock me a bit.  His team is still talented and dangerous.  He won't win all 8 though cuz I'm fixin' to pat his little bottom again Week 12  ;)

That's kind of you to say.  We'll see what happens... in the meantime the guy I'm going to miss the most is Fitzgerald - Harrison will be back for me next week and he's been solid.  I'm going to look to line up Hasselbeck, and I'm hoping to get some actual defense points out of the Vikings from here on out (Tampa Bay has been a joke) too.

In the meantime, Denver did their job - so as long as Grossman can score as many points as Boldin (-1.5) I'll get that desperately needed second win.

I'd say you can probably weather a 100 yard 1 TD Boldin performance.  If he scores twice, it's gonna be ugly.

For me this is a win-win though because the only person I want to sink more than you is Scott.  You two should take this as a compliment.

The only passing TD the Bears have given up this season was a garbage time TD to Lee Evans last week - I'd say the odds of Boldin coming down with 2 TD's are very slim.

Agreed, but at the same time Fitzgerald is likely on the shelf and Boldin will likely be targeted 8-12 times.  Just playing devil's advocate  :D

We'll see.   :)

I just got some good news though:

Larry Fitzgerald: (Hamstring) May Miss Just One Game -  10/12/2006 7:59:56 AM

Update:
Fitzgerald (hamstring, doubtful) is feeling better and could only miss one game, the East Valley Tribune reports.

Recommendation:
Despite the doubtful tag, the newspaper says that Fitzgerald is out for Monday's game. He did not practice on Wednesday but was walking around more comfortably than he was earlier in the week. Head coach Dennis Green said that the hope is for Fitzgerald to only miss a game or two.

Seriously, this is incredible.  I start Grossman over Hasselbeck - which is now about an 18 point blunder... and the Bears defense is acting like a sieve while Grossman can only complete a pass to the Cardinals DB's.

Unbelievable.

Congrats Scott.

You need to start rooting for him to switch the mojo around - Grossman just lost a fumble.

Unbelievable.

This doesn't even count that dropped interception on Grossman's second drive before they punted.

I can't.  He is my sworn fantasy enemy and I will battle him to my last breath.

Story of my season... one week I could have won if I'd started Kevan Barlow over Lee Evans.

The next week I could have won if I'd started Lee Evans over Kevan Barlow.

This week I could have won if I'd started Hasselbeck over Grossman (assuming Boldin doesn't score another TD or two).

It's just not my year.

Well...yeah, you should have beaten me this week, 6 starters on a bye...tough luck I guess Rob.  Those 2 lost fumbles and 2 picks can't be helping, 6 more yards for Boldin and I should have it wrapped up :-*

The ****** thing is that Alexander is out another couple of weeks.  I was really close to taking LT...really close.  Damn :-\  Well, the great football mind can't work all the time :-\ :-\
