Title: Ewoks toy chest
Post by: Jagdohh_Fett on April 17, 2005, 03:38 AM
I never got an answer on this at RS, so maybe you guys can help me.

I have that big Ewoks toy chest, now sitting in my room and I wanted to see what info I can get on it; value, rarity, etc. Anyone else got one?

Thanks for any help.

Do you have a picture of it?  I'm unfamiliar with this piece.

Sorry, don't have a digital camera or I'd get a pic up. I've seen a small picture of it on the cover of that Star Wars Wishbook (the frst one). Actually I guess it's a ROTJ toy chest since it has a picture of the droids on each side and a big picture of Ewoks along the front.

I believe the toy chest is a similar design to some produced by this company because my sister has one with animals on it (Get-along Gang?) that is the same shape and all.

Thanks for any help.

I have that book and I can see the pic on the lower left corner, looks like Wicket on the front. Take alook on page 344, listed under "Toy Chests". They have a front and side view of the chest, listed by American Toy and Funiture Co. FUU0003: Ewoks Toy Chest... $125. Course book prices don't mean a thing.

Heres a pic from inside the book, sorry for the crappy pic.  :-\

Dude, I totally had that ROTJ toy chest back in the day. I **** you not.

It got ruined in 1990 from flood/water damage though, and my parents tossed it.

Bummer.

That's it. Thanks DSJ.

I've had this since I was younger and I'm surprised it's lasted this long. The front panel with the Ewoks is detached on one side and I'm missing one of the blue drawers on it and I've placed stickers around the bookcase part, but it still stands and holds together. It was sitting in the garage for the longest time until I decided to "save" it  :).

Sorry to hear that, inadvertent imitation.
