Disneyland was suppose to get one too but thanks to budget problems at Disneyland Shanghai it got canceled. The Anaheim city government isn't exactly playing nicely with Disney right now too.

« on: June 1, 2018, 12:06 PM »Phruby, I dunno if Lando is Pansexual but I do know he mere simple mention of it in a friggin interview triggered so much bull**** on social media and elsewhere that it made me ashamed to consider some of the commenters “peers” in this hobby and fandom in general. I’d say some of the reaction was so overtly homophobic that those people need to have a long look in the mirror about their own hangups on sexuality in general.
To me the interview remarks by Kasdan and subsequently Glover were taken and blown way way out of proportion. I saw some tools even implying they had to explain pansexuality to their kids and refusing to go to Star Wars films and stuff like it’s now about space orgies and rated nc17. Just pure overreaction stupidity.
I took the remarks in the movie ask coming from a insecure crazy droid that might be in love with her owner and wants to keep competition away. Lando to me, has always been that lady's man, fancy dressed gambler in the saloon. He's kind of like Jim West in the Wild Wild West tv show. I'm not sure why there has to be an agenda added to his backstory.

7 things we've learned about Star Wars land. It looks like we are getting a Loth-Cat and other animals to pet. Some of them you can take home. Pictures of the skinned full size AT-ATs. The original voice of Nien Numb is back. A second dark ride element will be a full size Resistance Troop Transport. I assume that is from when you leave your droid controlled vehicle midway through the Battle Escape ride and board this thing.

I saw Solo a Star Wars story last night. I enjoyed it. It was good solid western with lots of action and twists. You see growth in the solo character and his growing friendship with Chewie. I like how he starts out very optimistic and how he learns to be a smuggler and pull of heists. It's not an epic movie like the trilogies so that was refreshing. I'd prefer smaller one off Star Wars movies. It was a good solid movie that was fun and cleaver. It even had a good FU to Lucas at the end regarding who shot first. Lando and his droid co-pilot definitely stole the show. It was cool to see the Falcon all clean and the little changes Lando to it. The movie is worth seeing regardless of the internet trolls that think its hip to hate all things Star Wars. Ron Howard did a great job pulling this movie off.

Weird. I haven't seen it yet. However initially everyone said it was amazing and best movie ever. Now you think it was Episode 1. It just shows how quickly the fan base can turn on something that isn't Star Wars.

Mine came saturday. The box was damaged but I didn't care. The seller was in Riverside so he definitely got it from Disneyland. Even with an AP discount I think he broke even which is nice to see on ebay where everyone doubles the price and ebay/paypal take 20% off the top. There was no shipping price on the mailing label.

My daughter when to see it on friday. She absolutely loved it but had no clue who most of the characters were. She recognized Spiderman but wondered where the Flash was. She is a big Flash fan on the WB. I had to explain that the Flash is DC not Marvel.
Anyway this was MCU's version of Godzilla destroying Tokyo with nothing anyone can do about it.
