Hey guys & gals, I know there is a trading section,  and i know i am double posting, Mods please forgive me, but i coulndt find the trading thread for custom fodder.

I need to Borrow a Vintage rifle.

Either the one from IG-88 or THe Hoth Snowtrooper

or

If you have both, that would be great.

I only want to make a mold so i can make a cast for some customs i'm working on. I will retun then unharmed.

I'll pay for shipping both ways if you let me borrow them, or If you want to trade them for one of my cast pieces or something else i may have just ask.

Thanks in advance.

Why do you know that Blaster??

I love the stuff for sketching and i had it laying around when i was about to weather a figure and I tried it and liked it...alot!

they werent ment to be twins...they arent identical.
SO , i would used different  heads if you got em.

I made these for a friend i trade with.

I prefer lighter weathering.  Not too dirty.

What i used here is some old art supplies i had. Its called Conte' Crayon. Its like a chalk, but not as powdery.
It smears really well when rubbed and its great for a slightly dirty look.

I basically just write on the clone where i want the dirt and use my finger to smear it.
It gives the effect of the dirt  mark and ground in dirt.

I used Black and Red.

I think he looks great phurby.
There arent many customizers who dont take artictic license.
There arent many exact customs out there, but reguratdles, this is a nicley done figure weither
Its accurate or not.

How about just after...say the 27th...that way if people are taking time off, they could get something done.
Alot of sudents have finals that week of the 20th,
christmas parties etc... could keep alot of people from participating.

Remember santa chewie? I think just you and i fishished it.

Just my $0.02.

WOW phuby, this is really an incredible custom.
You really took the time to add every bit of detail and
it paid off.

Nice idea for the decals it's perfect.

Add a little more hair an round the eyes and she would be perfect.

She does have a Spirer-woman type of thing going for her chewie.

551
wow all of these are nicly done. If the halo line was this scale i would ave bought some.
great work.

Cool neyo, phurby... He definately needs some weathering.
Is there an insignia on his head??  He has one just off to the side of his forhead.

Also, i think we need to take into consideration how many customs you make weekly.
Chewie is a MACHINE. If he had an assebly line in his work room i wouldnt be surprised.

I make maybe 3 per month.  4 in a busy month.

Do you think your current rate of customing would continue??

Love these guys chewie... great parts choice and paint job as usual.
Tilo is great considering the Frankenstien job you did on him. Lots of part donors!

Customizing Tips and Tricks / Re: Fixing Bent Items

Boiling them will soften the plastic, but they will eventually return to their position when cooling.
What i do is run some cold water in the sink so that as soon as i pull them from the hot water,
I position the part( in this case the back pak or the ig-legs)
and hold them in the new position and hold it under the running cold water.

THis makes the plastic cool faster and less likely to return back to old posision.
