Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Jedi_Master_Ben's Wax Shop

Man, she looks wicked! Too bad GTG doesn't ship to Holland, though. I found some nice items there. Some? I mean plenty!

Wow, had to dig up my thread all the way from page 3  ;D. That's what I get for not updating for more than a month, ha! Kass Tod is slow on progress, due to difficulties in finding/mixing the right colour for her skin.

However, here's Jedi Knight Szaru Faallor, my entry for the September competition over at Yakface. Szaru was one of the lucky Jedi to receive the altered signal from Coruscant and acted accordingly. Like other 'fugitives' of the Empire, he stayed in hiding in the Outer Rim territories. He led numerous succesful uprisings against the Imperial oppressors and gained much love and respect from the locals. Of course, his presence did not go unnoticed by others either. After five years of rebelling against the Imperials, one of his 'loyal' followers led him to the wrong end of an infamous red lightsaber...

Parts used:
head, arms: GI Joe VvV Dr. Link Talbot
Torso: Saga Han Solo Bespin Outfit
Legs: ROTS Ki-Adi Mundi
Coat: GI Joe Monkey Wrench
Custom made leather belt, holster and two shoulder patches.

Hmm, I think the black outlines of the various parts of the armour of both troopers are a bit too conspicuous. The weathering is top notch as always, though. This especially on the kama and pouch. Looks like real rugged leather, you know.

And kudos to your awesome background stories! I don't think I've mentioned that before, but those little pieces of inside information are quality reading material!

Wow, great background for a great figure! The paintjob is once again really good. Especially his skin tone and eyes.

What parts did you use? Seems like a lot of different figures were offered for this one  :)

The kama looks great on him, Outrider! But didn't Palpatine address Kagi when he went looking for Anakin? Man, I really gotta watch RotS again. It's been too long!

Is the red Hasbro's or yours? I think it's a bit too much on the bright side. Could be just he pics though.

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Brent's Customs - Updated 9/9 TWICE :)

Duronden looks amazing! Very cool smuggler indeed. And the paint apps on your figures are top notch. They all look perfectly dirty and smudgy. I think it's time for a group shot of all the palace residents so far!

Yeah, the eyes really do it, man! Did you sculpt (part of) his trousers, by the way? I'm still in a wip-stage with my version, based on Jedistyle's version.

How is the articulation? I've had such a hard time with the neck, I just glued his head to Coleman Trebor's neck. The feet gave me just as much trouble and are also glued. Only the hands and waist can move. Still need to do a lot of painting, though.

Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Customs by Fritzkrieg Update 09-04-2006
« on: September 5, 2006, 03:42 PM »
Simple, but cool custom Luke, Fritz. The removable cap is a splendid detail, as is the holster. Just sand off a red and blue square of the insignia and the rank is spot on as well  ;)

Whose legs are those, by the way?

 ;D LOL.

Great to have you here, S_H. We've already met at TFN and your customs are indeed something to be very proud of!

Outrider! Where have you been? Well, apparently doing some amazing camo paint job on this one. It's hard to believe, but you've improved the camo pattern of the RotE series again!

The belt and holster are a superb finishing touch, as always. Looking forward to more RotE figs, man!  ;D
