There are minor differences, but it's pretty much the same.

The biggest difference is the PS button.

Looks like it might be a PS3 day on Amazon Gold Box...

COD4 is already listed.  Looks like Wolverine is up in 90 minutes.  Not sure on the rest of the clues...

Speakings of COD4... I don't have broadband but I do have a buddy come over and duel me all the time. I hooked my system up at work and downloaded the $10 map pack to freshen things up, only to find you can't use the maps in split-screen play. Online multi-player only. Imagine our disappointment.  :(

But I've found out my PS username is angryewok so feel free to add me (I'm rarely on, though).  :D

I'm not creating a new thread and don't have the time to fish out at PS2 thread, but I picked up Ghostbusters over the weekend....Horribly long load times and awful graphics and basically a cheesy game after a few levels, even though I enjoyed destroying Mr. Marshmellow.  Blah.....

Yeah, the developers totally screwed the Sony platforms. Even the PS3 version has crap graphics and awful load times.

I was disappointed to hear how badly Ghostbusters turned out.  They couldn't even get it to render at 720p... it's upscaled from 540.  Just a piss-poor effort on their part.

The best part is the developers basically claimed they had it running at max capacity within the PS3's abilities. Maxed out, dude.

Has anyone given HAWX a try, yet? The demo was "aight" but nothing special. Was wondering if anyone bit on the $30 Gold Box, yesterday.

I tried the Savage Moon demo yesterday. Kind of fun, if you're a fan of Starship Troopers and tower defense games.

Last but not least, who tried the NCAA 2010 demo? I almost got it but didn't have the time to wait for the 1G+ download. The last NCAA I played was 2008 for PS2, but since they're usually just rehashes, I'm wondering if there's really much of a leap at all. Not sure if I want to drop the $60 on a new one - but a buddy of mine is always coming over to kick my ass at 2008.

I always hear the NCAA games are better than Madden... better features and gameplay.  And it's a significant improvement over the PS2 version.  I could never see dedicating the time to get good at those... franchise management and all that.

Yeah, my buddy doesn't even like football but for whatever reason he kicks my ass at NCAA 2008. He knows all of the shortcut buttons (R1, up, stick to the right, circle, etc). I have season tickets for the Crimson Tide and go to the Atlanta Dome every once and a while... he doesn't even watch the games on TV. I recognize formations and crap - he doesn't, but he's got the game figured out.

It's okay, though, because he's my bitch in COD4.  :D

Couldn't find a thread on it, but anyone have a PSP and have any thoughts on it?  I have to travel for work next week and it got me thinking of something to do on the plane ride (don't know if I'll be get it prior to then, but started me thinking anyway).

My son got a PSP for christmas this past year.  He enjoys using it for the titles that he plays.  The graphics do look nice from what I can tell.  The biggest challenge is available titles (especially new ones) and ongoing future support for the platform.  He mostly just plays the sports titles and the Battlefront games on the PSP - both types of games aren't available or don't translate as well on the Ninetendo DS.

Can't the PSP sync to the Playstation Store? I swear I heard you can download Metal Gear Solid for the PSP now.
