Man... your wife would be offended if you didn't post her photos!  Don't you consider her to be one of your top 5 hotties??   ;)

Look at how thin she looks in the pics, and then realize that she would look even thinner in person.  Plus, she has no sign of a breast.

I distinctly see some undercleavage in the bikini shot!  It's not the double-D UC we're used to here, but it's still UC!

It's funny... when I was searching for these images, I came across an article where Keira was talking about how they photoshop her up to have bigger breasts.  She said American magazines won't put her on the cover unless they alter her to have C-cups, because market research says American women don't want to look at other women with breasts any smaller.  They also did this...

Long time no bump!  This is in honor of two weeks until Pirates (which I'll end up seeing in three weeks because of C4)

Ugh... those are even worse than I feared.  There's just no cohesion.  It's like somebody threw a pile of metal scraps in a box and took photos.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: What HDTV to buy - LCD, Plasma, DLP

I have noticed a lot of compression artifacts from my local channels over DirecTV.  That was kind of disappointing.  It's still way better than regular TV about 95% of the time.  The only time it's not is in scenes where the color pallet is really limited (such as night time scenes) when it can be absolutely blocky.

I haven't had the chance to watch a Blu-ray movie yet, but I'm really looking forward to it.  I'm planning on picking up "Curse of the Golden Flower" next week, so that may end up being my first.  That movie has hands-down the most gorgeous interior sets I've seen in a film.  I have the feeling I'm going to be wiping the drool off my chin while watching that film.

I have an LCD.  I couldn't find a 1080p plasma anywhere I looked, and getting a 1080p HDTV was my primary goal.  My research indicated plasmas don't last as long, are susceptible to burn-in if you use them for video games, and run a lot hotter.  Of course I was only looking for a 40" HDTV... if you're looking for something really big a DLP would probably work better.

Currently, and don't laugh, I drive a 96 Grand Prix with check this, 235K miles.

I drove a '95 Grand Prix to about 130K, until the transmission cooling tube to the radiator rotted out and started spraying tranny fluid all over the street every time I moved it.  The cost of the repair was more than the car was worth, so since my wife's car had just been paid off I pulled the trigger on the La Crosse.  The La Crosse is NICE, nice driving.

That's no hybrid.  Environment killer.

Considering the SUV we briefly owned before it, I'm doing great at 25 mpg.  But you're right.  My next car will be.  I hope to eventually live in a city where I don't really need one though.

I read recently that the Toyota Prius Hybrid actually has a larger carbon footprint than the H3 Hummer because the Prius takes much, MUCH more energy to manufacture.  The increased gas milage cannot overcome the energy used to manufacture the vehicle even spread across the entire lifetime of the car.

http://clubs.ccsu.edu/recorder/editorial/editorial_item.asp?NewsID=188

They list the Toyota Scion as the ultimate "green" car when you consider manufacturing energy.

I think the biggest problem with 3 was that Rami didn't want to include Venom, and as a result the Venom story elements fell flat.  It's hard to do things well when you have nothing but contempt for them.  The whole black costume thing was bad.  The way it was introduced.  The way it changed Peter's personality.  The fact that we only saw one relatively short battle with him in it, and in that battle it didn't really help him at all.  The movie could have been much better if had been all red-and-blue Spidey against Sandman, with Osborn thrown in the mix.

Spoilers...

I'm actually happy Rami killed Venom at the end, because this ensures Venom isn't in the next one, so Rami can focus on the villains he's actually passionate about.
