Solo: A Star Wars Story / Re: Solo 3.75" Basic Figures
« on: April 9, 2018, 10:53 PM »
I haven't seen any leaked 4" figures on pegs, but at Target today, I did see NOT SCOUT TROOPER in Hasbro's 12" line, whose name I forgot. Patrol Trooper? that's it.

There's no thread for that stuff.

Yeah, if the farm had 16 episodes and Rick duked it out with Shane every 4 episodes, and Lori went off for some stupid reason and wrecked her car every 3rd episode, and two characters debated ethics/morality for 20 minutes every other episode..so, yeah, the show has gotten formulaic.

Still mucking about until the finale.

Aaron desperately searches for a storyline as the season nears to a close.

Dwight made the wrong call, as Simon is a bigger screw up.  Then again, Simon might have killed Dwight outright if he believed Laura.

Michonne found Carl's letter and read each word out loud...killing Negan softly with her song....

Only one I've seen is the First Odor Stormtrooper and thought "Wow, I got that at Wal-Mart for $6 over a year ago and it came with collector friendly resealable packaging!" What's with this glued bubble card stuff?  ;)

Why did I think Laura was named Susan?

I've had car batteries go dead sitting just after a month.

Also, they'd need some air compressors.

I was there thursday, my local store was one of the original close list, so it's at 70% off and it was grim inside.

Also, proof that Jyn Erso is the worst selling star wars lead character. Her 3 3/4" figures and whatever that Hasbro action doll line is figures were the only ones left of those assortments.  Still had 20+ First Order TIE pilots armor up versions but still $4+, at 70%??  No 3 3/4" vehicles left.  Zuvio at 6", only remaining 6 incher, still scans at $5.

All the True Heroes stuff was long gone, its aisle empty...interesting.

All Lego was gone save that weird action figure thing of guess who....Jyn Erso.

All Playmobil gone except some overpriced hockey guy.

Whole sections of store closed off with yellow warning tape.

Suffice to say, if there's something you want don't wait for 70% off.

The Vintage Collection / Re: Big Items of the Future!

I predict the next Haslab item will be either:
Rebel Blockade Runner...not to scale, but good enough.
or
Y-Wing (movie scale).

Resurrected thread.

Without thinking too much. (Yes, yes, like how I normally post... :P )

1. AD&D Warduke (this was me in my psychotic medieval revenge fantasy caricature)
2. MOTU Modulok (Evil beast of a 1000 bodies, all of them sexy as hell)
3. GI JOE's Duke (because he was a mail away and anything you receive in the mail as a kid gets bonus points)
4. Fisher Price Adventure People Brainoid (He's an alien brain in a jar on robot body, predating Krang)
5. Vintage Star Wars Bossk (it's that karate chopping left hand and he's a reptile man in a flight suit!!)
6. Super Powers Joker (the beating Batman over the head with a madcap mallet feature makes him best Joker toy of all time)
7. BSG Cylon (I think maybe I sucked his vac metal chrome paint off and turned myself into a freakin' retard...also his non-articulated legs were a bummer)
8. GI JOE Major Bludd (his mostly immobile right arm was annoying, but he somehow was the coolest baddie when I got him)
9. Remco Creature from the Black Lagoon (glow in the dark version...man, I wish i'd had both back then)
10. Vintage Star Wars Greedo (I like him so much I chewed his antennae off.)

Honorable mensches:
Kang (Secret Wars)
Shipwreck (GI JOE)
The 1985 Dreadnoks (GI JOE)
Mer-Man (MOTU)
IG-88 (vintage Star Wars)

I'll buy mine from the Chinese grey market.

(I'll live with that lie for as long as possible :'( )

Show is starting to drag.

Feels like they separated Negan from the Saviors twice now, just to kill time.

Jadis is mysterious....spoooky...black helicopters...Negan sums it up "what the sh-t?" :-X

It's that kingdom kid plot line I got tired of 5 episodes ago.

I'm tired of Morgan, so why do I want him on the spin off that I abandoned?

Rick skips the part where he gets people on his side and then drags out their deaths, and instead just shoots them in the back immediately. It's nice that he's sped things up, show runners, take note!

Who did Negan pick-up?
- Aaron, we see what leads up to that next week.
- Xander Berkeley's character whose name I cannot remember.
- Susan! WHO?
- Ferris Bueller's principal
- The hitchhiker from that old HBO series.
- Zombie Eric

Question: Sabine says Jacen Syndulla likes to fly like his father.  Was Kanan really that big into flying?

He's not the daddy! Wedge is! LOLZ.
