I had H1N1 a couple of weeks ago.  By the second day my fever was pushing 103.5, about the highest I've ever had it that I can remember.  Other than that it was exactly the same as regular flu, and I recovered in 4-5 days.

That one photo has a really bad, really harsh flash.  She has other photos floating around in that dress that look MUCH better.

Yeah, you're right.  In all fairness, here's another shot:

She's still grossly thin, but at least she doesn't look as ridiculous as that other one.

Pretty face, but that's about it.

As bad as it is, I can't help but seeing that guy on a roof top some day with police on the ground blaring on loudspeakers, "You have every reason to live!"  Getting that worked up over a goddamn action figure - wow.  Who cares?

By the way, Reid, I love the quote in your sig.  "Our suffering."  If the only "suffering" in his life is because Darth Malak isn't up to his standards, he has it pretty good.

But that guy "tenike1" brought the community to a new low.

Amen to that. I'm glad he hasn't been active for awhile, I was getting real tired of his melodramatic dribble. Still, his strange Hasbro conspiracy theories were entertaining.

I'm almost sure he's been banned, or at least suspended without a reactivation date.  I hope that dude's parents have him on meds.

I don't think much has changed really in recent years.  There have always been dipshits over there, simply because being the biggest Star Wars collector forum on the internet, they're going to attract the biggest number of dullards.  The bigger it gets, the more dipshits there will be, and unfortunately they are usually the guys who just type whatever incomprehensible bull**** happens to be going through their mind at the time.

But that guy "tenike1" brought the community to a new low.

The regulars on the GG boards of Rebelscum should get together with the regulars on the TAC boards and compare who has the heavier menstrual flow.  I've never seen so many whiny, cry baby, suck-ass pussies than on those two boards.

It bugs the hell out of me when someone's talking to you and they drop names mid-conversation without introducing the characters.

The World Clock

I especially like watching those abortions pile up.

Gimme a break...you're the dude who thought Christina Ricci looked like a bush baby.  You must be gay.

Well I hardly think I'm the first to make that comparison.

Until you show me a bush baby with D-cups, you're way off base.

You're right, people never help each other in other countries.

 ::)

I think Matt Fury was simply trying to say that his fellow Americans made him proud with their bravery and heroism in the face of such a disaster.  That's not to imply people in other countries wouldn't respond in the same way if faced with an identical situation.

Exactly.  Especially since some people like Michael Moore like to poo-poo Americans for not looking out for each other and having an "every man for himself" mentality - events such as this one and 9/11 proved that to be far from reality.

I would be all for it.  It would be a throwback to years ago when we actually had a pretty good time debating issues, and I even made a few friends in the process.  And with the smaller community here, the likelihood the thread will be dominated by dumbasses and pot-stirrers will be pretty low.
