Thanks for the compliments guys.

Here's the recipe:
Saga Boushh top helmet dremeled out a bit, to attach to the Saga Firespeeder pilot's head and neck post (good catch In Rem) ;)
OTC - Lobot torso
GI Joe - Hannibal jacket
Saga - Barada arms
OTC - Lando Skiff guard hoster, with skirt cut off
Saga 1 - Ki-Adi Mundi Skirt, trimmed out middle
Saga 1- Djas Puhr legs
Saga 1- Jedi library droids, cannibalized for leg armour, and chest piece.

Thanks again!

I live the use of the double coat look to him. Very gunslinger like.

VSTC Luke Skywalker Snowspeeder Upgrade
Here's a nice little change to make to the new VSTC X-Wing luke.   I added the collar from the Luke Hoth Snowspeeder figure and cup from Target a couple years back, and Bren Derlin boots.   I added a dirty/black wash over his flightsuit, and battered up his helmet.  To finish off the look, I strategically added small amounts of white paint to look like snow that had gotten caught up on his suit, especially on the left corner of his helmet.

Unfortunately, I forgot to add a bootstrap bandolier when I took the photos, but have since added one from a Bossk figure.

Here's the pics, it turned out especially nice, for the ease of few added parts, and a better paint job.

And finally a little wallpaper I came up with:

Wow that is excellent. I never would have thought to do that. The attention to detail is amazing. I may have to try this one myself.

Did you just cut the boots off and glue them on or is there a pin of some kind in the leg to hold it together?

Excellent work.

What a great idea.  I think the touch of the snow to the custom is terrific.  Its amazing how subtle changes (or radical in the case of the boots) can be so effective in creating amazing customs!

Thanks everyone for the compliments.    I was really surprised by how much it changed the look of the figure just by adding the boots and collar.  By adding a dirty wash to the figure also made a huge difference - though it doesn't show up in the pics as well.

Ennis - to answer your question, I cut the X-wing boots off.  Since they were so close to the ball joint, it was a bit tricky to get the Derlin boots to fit.  I dremeled out a small groove in the top of the Hoth boots to allow for the slightest bit of the actual ball joint to slide through.

Unfortunately, my means of attaching them was with superglue and his right knee joint swivels, but doesn't bend.  The left leg works fine, but I move it with care, so not top rip it apart.   :P

Hey, looks good! I like the addition of the white to the jumpsuit, and the collar and boots looks really good.

My only suggestion is maybe to alter the wide leg stance of Luke...it can be easily fixed by boiling the legs in water for about 2 minutes, then rubberbanding them together for a neutral stance, then placing them in a freezer for about 5 minutes. Works like a charm, I just did it yesterday.
My whole expanse...I cannot see...

I've been busy the past couple of months, and here's the first two figures of a few new ones I've made.

The first is Lando in another outfit, in which he's "dressed to impress." :P

Of course, he needed a cumberbund to dress it up a little.
Also, to make a deal, and to impress his get-together, Lando invested in an  old-republic relic, a female servant droid to serve drinks at his little party.

Let me know what you think of them!

Here's my version of padme when Anakin confesses how tortured he has become.

It turned out pretty well, but the pictures are a bit fuzzy.

To further express his feelings, Annie does the "jedi slide" singing "I wish I could wish"

Which, apparently doesn't impress....
