So........I'm thinking you are 1) not happy; and 2) disappointed in Carl.   ;)

LOL, yeah, they kinda went the other way, didn't they?

It was still terrific I thought, I'm fine with the other characters getting their spotlight next week. I just wonder how they will rotate through the various storylines for the rest of this season.

Carl was pretty frustrating most of the episode, but I think everything ended up in a good place by the end. Rick gave him his due calling him a man, and Carl realized he's not quite the ultimate bad-ass he thought himself to be and maybe his dad is worth something to him after all. I guess the zombie apocalypse doesn't preclude teenagers from acting like, well, teenagers.

Still think it was super-crappy thing to throw Shane in Rick's face like that though. Ouch.

Loved the Michonne stuff, although it was a little less obvious what was going on with her. Nice to see the pre-Walker pets. Great mini-herd slaughterama too. Glad she got the happy ending she deserved there at the close.

TD was excellent with Greg Nicotero and Danai. I'm a little worried about next week though: surprise cast member guest? Uh-oh. Don't die yet, Beth!!!  :-X

I'm ready!

As long as we get some quality time with Daryll, Beth, Maggie, Glenn, and Tyreese, I'll be happy.

And hoping Carl will be patient and sympathetic with Rick after getting brutalized by the late Gov.

 ;D

Yeah, it has improved over the course of the season to be sure. I find it to be a pretty entertaining hour of tv, was definitely geeked over Deathlok. Not sure how long it will stick around ultimately, but there a lot of stories left to tell.

I don't know how long I just spent looking at all those pics, but it was worth it.  ;)

Just magnificent, truly. I see so many things in there I want! (One day...)

Good casting no matter which way they go, I liked him in Priest.

This thing is going to be the complete opposite of that JLA train wreck in every way.

I'm definitely excited to hear more about what they have planned. And yeah, I guess in retrospect the early SW figures were not great likenesses either. But I think like Kenner they do pretty well with non-humans. The Terminator thing looked pretty cool, and Rocketeer came out ok.

No question they are going to get more of my 4" money this year than Hasbro.

Heads-up McMetal! I spotted TWD Wave 5 at my local TRU this morning for $16 apiece. They looked great and I was tempted to get a few figures now, but I'll wait for my online pre-order to ship.

That's so awesome...at the exact time you were posting this I was walking out with Tyreese and Maggie from my local TRU!  ;D Both the walkers were gone, but I was super happy just to have found both of the ones I did. (Weird though because this place usually gets trucks on Thursday and they had nothing new yesterday...wished I checked back today earlier I guess)

And then earlier this evening I found another Maggie at Walgreens, where I had originally found my first Glenn. She had better paint apps and was only $13.50 so I grabbed her and will just exchange the other at TRU.

The hunt is on for Walker Merle and Charred Walker!

I was lucky enough to find pretty much a full case of SL Wave 2 at my local Target tonight, along with a bunch of the Mission Series 2-packs. I walked out with a shiny new Captain Rex as my reward. This was the last 3&3/4" SW thing I had on my radar for 2014 until the Rebels stuff comes out. Happy to be caught up...

You mean the pictures are EE exclusives or the figures? Guessing it's just the pics, right?

I'm blown away by a lot of the listings, but somehow I don't think some of these other lines came out as well as Alien. The Terminator humans are practically un-recognizable. And poor Snake Plissken, what did they do to you?!

Big difference I guess when you get away from the original Kenner sculpts.

Went out to Walmart to see if this story about them clearancing SL already is true....only one store around here even carried them to begin with. I did indeed see the $3 clearance tag, but they still rang up at $5.88. So I just got them to price adjust at the register by showing them the tag and walked out with a $3 Shock Trooper.

Wish they would get that Wave 2 in at those prices...

I got 4" Azog, Radagast, and Invisible Bilbo in the mail from the UK last week. Azog is a great looking figure, and it's a real shame it didn't get released with the white Warg as originally shown at Toy Fair last year.

Oh man, I just got my 4" Azog from the UK today, and I couldn't agree more! He is superb!

I'm still holding out hope that at least the rest of the dwarves get produced one day, even if only overseas. Beorn, the Bard, and Smaug would be icing on the cake, but highly unlikely it would seem.

Good points by all, thanks...and wasn't she carried forward in Wave 3 as well?

I don't think any of the BS figures have been very easy to find at retail after Wave 1, so I guess I figured there would be more "heat" for that stuff in general.

It seems weird to me that Mara Jade has almost no secondary market value whatsoever compared to other female EU figures. It can't just be the hair...Bastila Shan had an ugly 'do too. Do people just not gravitate to the character?

Saga Legends / Re: Saga Legends "Mission Series" Figure 2-Packs
« on: February 6, 2014, 08:44 AM »
Agreed there has been a noticeable shift the past couple of years. I recall getting the Clone Wars Republic Assault Sub deluxe set and being stunned how poorly that scuba trooper was painted. I think they must have shifted a lot of their production to inferior factories.

I feel lucky to have gotten a couple of good Maul/Obi-Wan 2-packs, but I had to do a careful comparison among the multiple sets to find any that were passable.

LOL, I just spied a Rieekan on the pegs at Rite Aid last weekend. Right next to a SOTDS TCW El-Les. (which I would have bought if it weren't $14, WTF?)
