I don't think someone who's played 1 year of Fantasy Football should be mocking any picks

I can't remember a draft where I haven't been on your ass after questionable picks.  It's all in good fun.  And as far as who outranked who last year, if I remember correctly, you finished in...

Nevermind  :D

Now make your pick and make sure it's better than someone who's career year included 2 TDs.

Hell I've only played 1 year of fantasy football.

Just so happens I won... but I've only played once.

I think playing fantasy football one time, finishing 3rd out of 14 teams, and thinking LaMont Jordan sucks can all coexist at one time.  Too much fun.

Kay, who put Scott and Kevin in consecutive picking spots >:(

 :P

These are the questions we ought to be asking ourselves.

Yeah, but you could have put my numbers next to anyone's name.

That's reasonable doubt.

In contrast to last year, looking up and down these team lists so far, it is remarkably even so far.  I mean, once you cast aside that LaMont Jordan pick which was just an abomination.  But aside from that, the playing field looks relatively level.

The teams do look pretty balanced at this point.

I don't think Jordan or Whitten are bad selections. Jordan should benefit from extra attention being paid to Moss and Porter, although you do have to wonder about how big of a role Crockett will play, especially at the goal line. Nonetheless, Scott has three legitimate starting RB's on his roster, which a good number of us won't be able to say when all is said and done.

Whitten has good numbers for a TE, and should give Kevin an edge at that position in most matchups.

Jason Witten was only 20 yards shy of 1,000 last season, and that's at TE.  When you consider that Tony Gonzalez is recovering from foot surgery and still has chronic pain there, and Antonio Gates may miss 10 games with a holdout, Witten is the man to get at TE.  I kinda like it, maybe not round 3 though, perhaps round 4.

Yeah, but Jordan has been in the league for 4 years, played all but 2 games, and his career year, his best foot forward so far, has been 479 yards and 2 TDs.

LOL, I don't know if any of you guys have seen this Terrell Owens interview on ESPN, but it sounds like TO might not even play a game this year.  He hates everyone on that team, and doesn't even speak to them.

As the guy who drafted Gonzalez I'd suggest you not get too fired up about a problem the guy has all the time.  Yep, it's chronic.  But that means he had it the last couple of years and it didn't really hamper his production too much, in fact, so little he outperforms a large number of WRs.

Witten's not a bad pick, I had him as my number four TE.  But I had him considerably further down my list overall.

While I'm at it though, I don't think Jordan is a bad pick either.  Aside from what Matt Carroll already stated, there should be some decent short yardage TD's coming at the very least and in higher than expected numbers.  No doubt the passing game in Oakland will be pretty exciting, but not every reception is a TD.  I think Jordan will score a good chunk of points.  I had him ranked at #35 on my list and Scott took him at #31, no big deal to me.

Nice pick with ________ Kevin.  Heh, I'll edit that out for the time being.

Speaking of Scott, someone needs to get a cell phone number for him so we can just call him when it's his turn.

I'm hoping to get at least another pick (which means pair) in tonight.

If Scott doesn't take him, we're just going to give you that guy you just picked and then erased and move on, is that cool?

Matchups to look for:

Week 6: Dressel Jr. vs. Morgbug - "The Young and the Very Old"

Week 8: Muskies vs. Rebellion - "There can be only one"
