Screw Amazon - deep discount dvd has just about everything, usually a little cheaper than anywhere else (not always the case on new stuff) and they ship any order regardless of size for free.

I got all excited about the start of fantasy hockey tonight - only to check my team this morning and find that I have exactly ONE player going this evening.

Oh well.

That band makes me want to stick knives in my ears.  (no offense)

You guys are so lame.

At least you two don't have animated borat avatars to rip off my style with.

I'm all set for now with the 30 gig, but I'm waiting for the 300 gig iPod 'Grande' - it'll be the size of your average maxtor external HD - but with a 4 inch wide click wheel and a color screen.

Nice chart - we should cross reference it with what it looks like at the end of the season to see if it all shakes out in the end.

Part of me likes it this way though - gives you a chance to win even if you don't have the one juggernaught.

I swear, this is the 4th or 5th fraction of a point game I've had in 3 years of fantasy football and I have lost every one of them.

This time it was back to back weeks.

Always had a good team.  Never had the luck.

Good teams win the close ones. ;)

I kid of course... we all are slaves to luck once the draft is over.  Sure you can make educated guesses on who to start every week but once the games start a million different things can happen.

If you'd have told me that all I needed was for Mushin Muhammed to not catch a touchdown pass OR for Hasselbeck to throw just ONE - I'd have loved those odds, but Darrel Jackson dropped a sure fire TD on a 40 yard bomb and Muhammed caught his first TD of the year and voila, I went from 2-2 and on the rise, to 1-3 and back into the fantasy football cellar.

Likewise I'm in 10th place because it's a head-to-head league but my team is fifth in points scored.

Yes, congratulations Brent.

I'm quite pleased with my bronze - after coming in fifth last year.  Extrapolate this into next year and I should come in first.   8)

The best part about this weekend was that the Bucs didn't lose.

It's not like Bonds and the homerun record - there's no need for an asterisk.

Well since there's about a zero chance of my position changing today, I'm going to go make a little bit of space in my trophy case for this spiffy new bronze.   :-*

Looks like Scott is getting away with murder today.  Brian, who has a history of doing this if I remember correctly, has left both a bye week player (Elam) and an inactive player (Henry) in his starting lineup.

That's a free win for Scott.  Very annoying.

 >:(

That sucks, did anyone think to try and get in contact with Brian to let him know?!

Yep, he didn't live up to a #4 pick, but he did have a very good second half of the season.

Meanwhile, Scott and Brent are tied going into the last day!  The suspense is killing me.
