Of course that doesn't jive with what happened with Jeff's case, but it is a pretty small sample size thus far. 

Yeah, with a sample size of 2, it's hard to say if Dan's was just an oversight/error or if it was picked out by Robby for some reason.   

It will be interesting to see what happens when folks start cracking in to the other 7 MCs that I have sitting here...

Does anyone has an idea of how big Robby's opperation might be?
Maybe this was a few employees that screwed with some cases?

I'm real sorry this happened to you EF, this sucks.

My hope is that its just a fluke, not someone making the hobby harder than it already is.

So i just got totally ripped off by Robby. Wasted 350.00 and no rare chase in my master case. They must have switched it out for another box. 

Terrible news Evenflow.  I hope you're able to resolve this.  I can't begin to imagine how mad I would be if I were in your shoes.  Good luck.

When I speculated that these would be packed 3:12 and not 1:12 as they actually are, I thought of customizing one of these with the helmet off, painting his face with 'dirt', and adding the Series 5 Jedi Luke hair to make a post Boonta Eve Anakin...

Or a US ebay account.
If we could find out a user name, we might be able to see if he is selling Chase figures etc.

If Robby.jp has an eBay or YahooJapan ID, it's pretty well hidden.

I still think it was just a factory boo-boo.  Robby.jp is just a wholesaler, I don't think they deal with the general public directly for the most part.  Unless it was an employee being naughty, I just don't think it was them that swiped the chase box.

I mean, if you're swiping chases, why not take the JarJar box too?  Between all of us here, I think we've easily seen 25-30MC from Robby over the years and I don't remember this being an issue with Robby before.  Why would they just start now?

Of course, if we see more MCs from Robby.jp showing up without chases, then that changes things...  but for now I'm not going to convict Robby.jp on one bad MC.

I'm of that opinion too, that it isn't Robby that is the problem.  It could be, but I don't think so.  I still think it more likely that Medicom is messing with the packing rather than Robby messing with the MC/boxes. 

The most likely scenario is just that Dan got a messed up box out of Medicom, via Robby.  Unintentional, but still mighty painful.

I concur with Jeff & Brent. I don't think it was switched out at Robby, the messed up factory boo boo to me is the culprit. Heck, even back in the day of the Kenner vinty line there were factory boo boo's of miss carded figs or bubbles upside down etc...

As for Robby on the auction block, yeah that would have to be well hidden.

Ugh, bad luck there :-( Sorry to hear it, I would be mighty pissed myself.
I really don`t think Robby had anything to do with it though. That would be like Diamond or some such over here going through cases. Like others have said, more likely a factory error.
I remember on KW, someone got a box of all Darth Vader out of a sealed box.
As for contacting Medicom, good luck there, I never saw a good way to get ahold of anyone there.
Might have better luck with Robby.

No 1138 that I can see...

The only reason why i think it may be someone at Robby is becuase the Robby sticker they attached to the box is large and placed over the bottom side flap. It just doesnt look natural. I am sure i am just more furious than anything else and i dont know what to do at this point. I am just screwed.

OK, this may be a dumb question, but I lost track 10 replies ago.
Did you open every Kubrick?  Even the boxes that may not have had a chase?
My guess is you did, but I thought I might cover all the angles here.
