I'm really not sure why Deanpaul hasn't gotten his present by now, I entrusted it to my parents some time ago to have it sent off.  From my understanding of the events after that time, it was sent off. I'll try to get to the bottom of it, though.

I would really like to apologize to Deanpaul in any case, however. Despite the circumstances that I've been thrust into recently and historically, there really isn't any excuse for the package not being sent off. I feel like a real jackass about the whole thing, because as I've said I find it inexcusable that it has taken so long for Dean to get his gift.

Once again Dean, I am so sorry, and hopefully your stuff is either en route or about to be sent off.

With more Canuckbucks, we can get a bigger Navy.

What is with the recent trend in Canada to upgrade/build-up the armed forces?

...Having not seen anything but Poggels and Sun Facs from Geonosis, I'm less than thrilled that these are making it out.

I think it's safe to say I'll be Army Building with the Sandtrooper. I'll take as many as possible, considering how low I am on VOTCs. Jawesome  8).

Question: Why does anyone even raise an eyebrow at Greenday, The Subpar Troll? I'll conceed that he's annoying, but is he really more so than any of the other folks there who exhibit similar posting habits? I'd suppose that since I seldom post there, I'm not effected by any supposed problem presented by Greenday, The Subpar Troll, and hence feel a disconnect to the outrage and uproar he typically creates.
So what's the deal, why do ya'll care?

NO. NO. NO. NO. A THOUSAND TIMES NO.

What'd be cool is if Hasbro would make VOTC quality EU figures in the basic line. I don't want to pay $10 for "vintage style" figure from 1998.

I find the way people freak out around here quite amusing. :P
Yeah, for real. It's even worse here in SC, I think. If there's a flurry, there'll be accidents.

We're right on the line of "significant accumulation" and a mix.

Erm, not sure where you heard that bit. You're NE of the Charlotte Metro area, right? Well the significant accumulation line basically hugs the mountains and reaches only about 30 or so miles out into the Peidmont.
As it stands, the WFO at GSP (which, if I remember correctly, serve the Charlotte area) has only posted Winter Weather Advisories as far east as Gastonia, and as far south as Toccoa. Inside these areas, accumulations of up to 1 inch are possible, but going by GSP's logic, not entirely likely.
However, given the dynamic and broad nature of this particular system...and this regions apprehension in predicting winter weather, it wouldn't suprise me if the significant accumulation line were pushed a little farther east and south, towards the Charlottle Metro and locations south of the I-85 in other parts of the area.
Looking at the current numbers, it seems as though we're in the ideal position to recieve something across the I-85 corridor. Which would be great, considering that we haven't had a winter thus far.  :-\

For anyone interested...GSP

Brilliant, considering that many people were unable to find the final 12 while these were to be found in abundance. Although I can understand Hasbro's reasoning in releasing these kid friendly figures, I cannot help but be miffed that they've shafted us again.

So I'm guessing living in a relatively small town has it's advantages when it comes to the amount of house you get for the money?
