One thing to consider is if these will even make it to stores. By the time they are released, Targets will still have Jyn and Snoke figures along with X-Wing Luke and Poe all over the pegs. Walmart will likely stop ordering. All just like this past spring and the last year or so.

Picked my Luke’s up today and am quite pleased.

The one thing nobody is talking about though, and a major advancement in quality imho, is the separate sculpt hair they’re doing now.  People really are missing this as a subtle but major update to figures to add depth, lessen paint apps and bleeding, and really make a much more detailed figure to boot.

One figure I got has a sort of lazy eye but the other was perfect.

So is then a new head sculpt and not the previous one with the new face paint tech?

Are those listings from Amazon right, will the next TVC wave not come out for 6 months?

Very cool that they revealed a Cara Dune for the TVC line. But have they ever officially revealed The Mandalorian for TVC?

Found this wave today at Target, first time seeing a new wave there (outside of Force Friday) since TVC Wave 1 last year. I forgot to look at the number on Leia when I left her behind. I did get the two troopers and there is a couple of interesting points on their weapons...

For the Sith Trooper, the cannon he comes with is useless. The legs don’t unfold and he has no way to really hold it. The blaster he comes with is missing the stock shown on the card art and again he can barely hold it. I swapped the blaster with the one from the Jet Trooper and though again he can barely hold it, it does look a lot better with the stock.

For the Shadow Trooper, he comes with a long rifle that I swear is the same one from the POTF2 4-LOM! I don’t have that rifle readily available but damn does it look close. Would be really funny if they used a 22 year old accessory in the TVC line.

All the other figures from this wave are really solid, although I wish they would have done something different with D-O's stand.  I wish it was clear with a "foot" peg or something, or just built it in to the figure.  I'm pretty sure half the people won't even realize there is a mini-stand in the packaging, or they'll easily lose it.

I am so glad I saw this, thanks for mentioning this. I opened my Rey today and tossed the packaging and did not notice the little stand. I had to dig thru a lot of recycling to find the inner tray, thankfully the little stand was taped to the tray. Could have gotten messy  :D

and for the second time I've promptly broken the barrel of her gun off trying to put it in the holster.

Same here.  That gun/holster combo is pretty poorly designed.

I turned mine around with the grip pointing forward. Fits better that way.

I had to cut the holes at the bottom of the holster to get the gun in the right way. Thought I was gonna break the muzzle off before it finally got in there

Guess I was wrong about these warming pegs. These were wiped out at my local Wally today,

Don’t worry when walmart orders tons more of this and not a single extra TVC case, you will see these collecting dust in clearance aisles

Those First Edition white boxes were way harder to find than I expected. Only 2/6 Targets had them and GameStop only got like 1-2 figures per store it seemed, AND wanted $25 for them!

I wonder how many of those they actually made. Definitely inconsistent how they were clustered. Happy I got all 8 but i was sweating it for awhile there.

Interesting, around me the white boxes were all that could be found. No Mandalorian, but the others were easy to find. Did not see the new wave in standard packaging in any of the 6 stores I hit

BTW,  nice of you to email about Unicron Hasbro, but where was my email alerting me that 6” exclusive Luke was up earlier this week? Premium members should have had first crack at that too.

I was just thinking the same thing. I get all these emails about Unicron and non-SW exclusives, but when it is time for SDCC Fett or Yavin Luke, my inbox is bare. Wtf Hasbro Pulse you know what I buy!!!

Man, we heard about this last October? It really has been awhile. I know it was expected "Fall 2019", but have we heard anything about this lately. Looking forward to it myself.

If it’s like previous Walgreens exclusives it should start appearing in September.

This guy is all like, yeah o was in the first movie. You probably just didn’t notice me standing right there in front of everyone...

Thanks for sharing the Jedi Luke pic. I am not sure what to think of it - it looks ok just doesn’t match Luke in ROTJ to me. But as a collector of all things JL, I’ll have to get my hands on one at some point.

The individual carded figures probably won't be back at Target (or Walmart) and will probably just be "fan channel" in the Fall (on or after Triple Force Friday, October 4th).

In SWAN's interview with Hasbro, Sam indicates that Target is indeed done with the Retro Collection at retail.

From that answer I couldn't figure out if he means this round or at all... because they seem to be popular, but if Target isn't interested in carrying them at all that might mean the experiment isn't going to last as long as I thought it might...

I took it to mean that the Target order was fulfilled and sold through and that Target was not interested in another order. While it doesn’t necessarily mean they wouldn’t order a new wave, past experience tells me to agree with you, the retro experiment is likely done.

So then yeah he could be misdirecting or there indeed has been squat. I’ve done my best to keep up with Jayson’s excellent research and was pretty sure he hasn’t found anything for notable 3.75”’ support of TROS other than a couple of TVC figures. So it is looking bad here and as Rob
Mentioned disappointing to not have sufficient Ep9 figures to add to the sequel display
