Talk about a sad, sad day.  :'(

Today was the first day (of many) that I have started taking down my collection.  I've been working on it for 3 hours, packing everything away neatly in boxes.  The reason for that is that my wife & I are going to start searching for a new home soon, and I need to pack all this up before we put our townhouse on the market.  It's so depressing see bare walls with nothing up on them, and my little dioramas (nothing compared to Sandtrooper Dan's, of course) are just gone.  I'll take a picture of the room when I get it emptied out.

But, the good thing about this is that when we find a house, the basement will be 100% devoted toward my Star Wars collection.  My wife, Carrie, has agreed that I can do whatever I want to do with decorating it.  Not sure what I have in mind, but it will depend if we get a house with a finished or unfinished basement.

Saga '02-'04 / Re: Target = Marked Down Prices

The Targets by me don't have much at all ever, except some Animated Clone Wars figures.  And there's nothing on sale at any of them.

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Finally Padme!

Anyone know if there's any truth to the rumor that Lucas asked Natalie to get a boob job and she declined?

What's wrong with what she currently has?

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Darth Vader Pics!
« on: March 11, 2004, 10:19 PM »
OMG!!!!   :o  I was shocked seeing burnt-to-a-crisp Anakin, but was even more blown away by that image of Darth Vader being put together.  I can't wait to see how they actual turn Anakin into Darth Vader.

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Creating General Grievous
« on: March 11, 2004, 10:15 PM »
When I first saw that cover shot with Grievous on it I was like, "Damn, does he look sweet or what!?"  Obviously this is a going to be another 100% CGI character, but that doesn't bother me much with how well Yoda was done in AOTC.  I'm really looking forward to seeing this character in the movie.  I read somewhere online that Grievous will face up against Boba Fett in EP3.  Is that true or just a rumor?

This is definitely the strangest thing I have in my collection.  My dad picked that up at some second-hand store for a quarter.  Everything is still in the box and hasn't been setup... yet.

Vintage Kenner / Re: Whats up with this auction?
« on: March 7, 2004, 09:27 PM »
My question is, is the prices of these diecasts going up or does the bidders really want it that bad?  $101.00  ???

I think it's that people just don't do their homework and they don't try shopping for it at a cheaper price.  Dale, you getting that for only $15 is an incredible steal though.  I've seen these go for up to $50 if they're carded and the card is in somewhat decent condition.

Saga '02-'04 / Re: KB
« on: March 7, 2004, 09:23 PM »
The stores by me don't have anything good at all.  I was in one this weekend and they were just opening a brand-spanking new case of Saga 2002 figures from the original waves.  Other than that there wasn't anything worth while.

Simply amazing.  Very impressive.  Keep up the good work.   :)

Thanks for the nice compliments!

dustrho & DSJ would you guys have a problem with me posting my collection pics?  The only Star Wars related items are Unleashed and Kubrick's and a couple other pieces.  The majority is McFarlane and some other stuff.

I'd be happy to host your pictures on my site.  Send me an instant message on AOL and we'll chat about it.  My screen name is dustrho123.

...I was mindlessly pulling stuff from a box and saw the biggest freaking spider skitter to the shadows in the box. Can you say FREAKED OUT!!!

I absolutely HATE spiders!  I remember watching "Arachnophobia" when it first came out in theaters.  Totally freaked the living you-know-what out of me!!!

Nice picture there Thomas!  This is a cool topic.  About a year or so ago I looked through all the photo albums at my parents' house looking for pictures like that, and out of say 15 huge albums I only found four pics with me and Star Wars toys.  Of course they're all from Christmas time.  Here they are...
