Oh good god! Enough of the remakes!  >:(

The Day the Earth Stood Still

It's got Jon Hamm in it...it can't be bad.  ;)

But yeah...enough of this garbage.

John

But Keanu!  :-X  ::)

Bad enough that they are remaking Clash of the Titans   :'(

No sir, I don't like it!

One of the advantages of living in a big film market; next Monday I'm going to see newer print of Close Encounters on the big screen.

I love pretty much everything PTA's ever done,

With you there - favorite has to be Boogie Nights, hands down.

I was planning on going, but Marcus theatres refuses to show it.  Main reason I love that theatre is because of their UltraScreen which is 75feet wide x 32 feet tall...Guess I'll have to to to a "regular" theatre.

I really wanted to go see but after hearing the actors on opie and anthony this morning describe the filming, it just kind of turned me off. They described it as shaky.

It is shaky, but that's what's going to make this movie fun.  I really dug TBWP when I first saw it moreso because of the way the movie was filmed....It just made it that much scarier.

I still remember seeing the trailer for Cloverfield for the first time when I saw Transformers thinking to myself...wtf  ???  There wasn't even a name for the movie, no credits, no anything.  Just a party and a big head rolling down the street.  I'm so ready for this monster flick  :)

So it's Godzilla 1998 meets The Blair Witch Project.

With those influences, how can anybody not see it?

Saw Cloverfield today. It's a short movie but I liked it. It's not as shaky as everyone makes it out to be.

I hate Marcus Theaters sometimes. Last year, they bought both local cinemas, and they start pulling this crap. I don't really want to see either Cloverfield or Sweeney Todd, but there are plenty of other people who do.

I fully expect them to not show Indiana Jones and Star Trek XI the way they're acting.
