Toy Reviews / VTSC Biker Scout
« on: April 10, 2006, 02:55 PM »
It all started on one sunny day in Northern VA , around noonish. I raced to the toy aisle pegs in my Target, with visions of Scorches and Fouls and Firespeeder Pilots in my head. I was let down, all that was left on the pegs was a lone Utapau Clone Trooper and 4-5 Sun Facs. Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a VTSC Luke in X-Wing Gear. I light up, seeing two full pegs of the new VTSC figures. I quickly flipped through them, hoping to find a Biker Scout. There it was, in the back of the pegs! A VTSC Biker Scout! After picking up a pack of King Kong Movie Cards, I raced to the register, my purchase in hand. Here goes the review.

Sculpt: 5/5
The Biker Scout has a sculpt that looks like Hasbro paused ROTJ and grabbed a real Biker Scout right out of the movie. The armor has a nice, clean sculpt on it, and the body glove has all the creases, folds, and straps on it. The survival backpack looks perfect, and the helmet looks to-scale. Hasbro even sculpted in an ankle holster for the Biker Scouts minigun.

Articulation: 5/5
From what I can tell, the VTSC Biker Scout has 14 points of articulation, it is "super articulated". Normally I'm not much of an articulation freak, but I do believe all "troopers" should have at least 12 points of articulation. These 14 points can allow the Scout to ride his speeder bike, lie down in sniper position ala SW Battlefront, and blast away at rebel scum.

Paint: 5/5
This Scout is all clean, and I like it. He does have a little bit of mud on his boots, but oh well. Even though his helmet is small, it has a very crisp paintjob on it.

Accesories: 5/5
This Imperial Trooper includes:
-Scout Blaster

Since most VTSC are only supposed to include the accesories they had when they were vintage figures, I can forgive the Scout only including a Blaster. I like the look of it very much, its very compact.

Packaging: 5/5
I love the packaging of the VTSC series, its a recreation of the original vintage packaging that was used between 1978-1984. It even has the Kenner logo and the vintage "coffin" blister.

Overall: 5/5
A flawless figure, the VTSC Biker Scout is a must-buy. I passed on the original VOTC Stormtrooper, so I wanted this even more. This is undoubtbly the definitive version of this trooper.

Toy Reviews / The Saga Collection Lushros Dofine
« on: April 7, 2006, 07:32 PM »
Lushros Dofine was one of my favorite characters during the first 20 minutes of ROTS, and he had classic lines such as "All batteries fire! FIRE!" and "Two Jedi have landed in the main hangar bay. We're tracking them." Now that I finally have this beauty, here goes the review.

Sculpt: 5/5
Lushros has one of the best Neimoidian sculpts ever, much better than Lott Dod and the E1 Rune Haako. He has all the folds and creases in his pilot robes, and his "scarf" is well sculpted with all the intricate lines in it. He also has the best Neimoidian face sculpt ever, and it showcases all the intricate wrinkles that Lushros had.

Articulation: 4/5
Lushros Dofine has 7 points of articulation, pretty good for a robed figure like him. Even if he did have knee joints he woudn't be able to use them because of his plastic robe. Also, he has a ball-jointed head, making him useful for customizers.

Paint: 5/5
While his robes are fairly plain, the reason he gets a 5 is because of the face. The face looks like it came right out of the movie, thanks to the paintjob.

Accesories: 5/5
Lushros includes:
-Trade Federation Datapad
-Command Console
-Mini Hologram (I got a Stormie! My Holo Imperial Army is growing rapidly.)
-Base

This is a good example of what Hasbro should pack in with their figures. The Datapad is cool, but the real star is the Command Console. It's heaven for customizers and diorama builders (I'm looking at you, CHEWIE  ;)), and it looks just like it did in the movie. I could see someone making an Invisible Hand Bridge diorama using these consoles. Also, another reason this category gets a 5 is because I got a holo stormie to recruit into my Holo Imperial Army!

Army Building Potential: 5/5
Lushros is generic enough to be used as one of the other Neimoidian Pilots seen in the bridge scene, so that's a plus to me.

Overall: 4.6/5
Lushros Dofine is an excellent figure, and is a perfect example of what Hasbro is capable of if they put their minds to it. He has exceptional accesories, great paintjob, dead-on sculpt, what's not to like? I predict Lushros will break the 7-year old Neimoidian curse.

Toy Reviews / The Saga Collection Snowtrooper
« on: April 6, 2006, 09:37 PM »
I had to go to a doctors appointment today in the early morning (They made me take a urine sample  :P :P), and after my mom needed to go to Target so I went along with her. Seeing how it was 11:43, I raced to the pegs, hoping to find some Coruscant wave joy. I was let down, but my frown turned upside down when I spotted a lone Snowtrooper marooned on the pegs surrounded by Yodas, Sun Facs, and Vaders. Being discouraged from finding bare pegs week after week, I picked him up.

Sculpt: 5/5
There is one word for this sculpt: exceptional. The armor is well-detailed and his helmet has all the creases and folds in it. The kama is very good, and looks very battle worn. The legs seem more movie-accurate than the OTC/SAGA versions.

Articulation: 2.7/5
Although I'm not too touchy about articulation, I believe that all "troops" should have at least 12 POA. I was let down when I found out that this figure has half that amount. I guess a VTSC "Super Articulated" version isn't too far down the road.

Paint: 4/5
While I do wish this Snowie was all white, I do like the battle damage on this trooper, especially the blast mark on the helmet. I also wish a variation on this trooper was a burgundy color scheme, as seen on Bacara's troops during the Battle of Mygeeto.

Accesories: 4/5
This Imperial Trooper includes:
-Imperial E-11 Blaster Rifle
-Base
-Mini Hologram (I got Darth Maul)

I think this figure should have had more accesories, and Hasbro has shown us they can put numerous and amazing accesories in with their figures, as evidenced by Veers, Lushros Dofine, and the upcoming Tatooine Luke Skywalker. Such accesories such as Macrobinoculars, or one of the random boxes that littered Echo Base would be a good idea to pack in with this guy.

Overall: 3.9/5
Overall, this rendition of the Emperor's Finest is pretty good, but articulation is its biggest negative, especially for a "trooper" figure like this. It's definitly worth a purchase if your a fan of Imperials, Clones, Troopers, and the like.

Saga Collection '06 / The Motives Of Scalpers
« on: March 28, 2006, 08:15 PM »
After seeing bare pegs yet again (Except for seeing a single Cody around a week ago) when I was at my local Target earlier today, I was wondering, what exactly is the motives of scalpers? Most of you would say to create a quick buck on eBay, but it just seems like too much trouble to wake up at 7 am, fatten yourself up with MickeyDees Breakfast, then head on to Target, obtaining every single figure in the store, including snatching figures straight from childrens hands (I've seen this), then selling them on eBay. I don't know about you, but that just seems like too much trouble for scalpers to do. So why do they do it? Were they summoned to Earth by Beezlebub to make collector's lives miserable?

Geonosis Droid Foundry:

A major foundry of the CIS is Geonosis. Overseen by the Geonosians, trillions of Battle Droids are created here. This was the site of a battle as the Republic's Clone Troopers swept into Geonosis and took over the Confederacy's Headquarters there.

Mygeeto:

The icy world of Mygeeto was the site of a IG Banking Clan command center. During the end of the Clone Wars a battalion of Snowtroopers, led by Commander Bacara, led an assault on Mygeeto and infiltrated the IG Banking Clan city.

Neimoidia:

Headquarters of the Trade Federation, Neimoidia was a major CIS planet during the Clone Wars. It was the site of massive fungus farms, for which is a reason it is famous. During the final hours of the Clone Wars, the Empire took Neimoidia, along with the three purse worlds: Cato Neimoidia, Deko Neimoidia, and Koru Neimoidia.

Unlimited Projection:

Originally a Trade Fed core ship, the Unlimited Projection disengaged from the rest of the ship and became a temporary outpost for the Seperatists on Utapau. This was where General Grievous began his fight with Obi-Wan, and the Republic Army began its attack on Utapau.

Felucia:

A fungal and swampy planet, Felucia was an outpost of the Commerce Guild. When the Republic Army began their search for Shu Mai, she left and fleed to Utapau.

Mustafar Command Outpost:

One of the last strongholds of the Confederacy, the Command Center on Mustafar was where the CIS Remnant stayed for about a week before Lord Vader arrived on the planet, ordered to slaughter the remaining Seperatists. 9 years after that event, a Geonosian Captain named Gizor Delso reactivated the droid army and almost defeated the Imperial taskforce sent there. In the end, the Empire won the battle. The Imperials then destroyed the facility once and for all.

The Prequel Trilogy / Major Battles Of The Republic And Empire
« on: March 11, 2006, 05:21 PM »
Note: I am only writing blurbs for battles I know a lot about.

Battle Of Geonosis:

The Battle Of Geonosis started when a taskforce of 200 Jedi went to Geonosis to rescue Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padme. At the end of the arena battle the Jedi warriors were outnumbered, and with 50% of their taskforce dead. It would have been a CIS victory if not for the speedy arrival of Yoda and his army of 4 legions of Clone Troopers. The end result was a Republic victory, but at a price. In the end, 60% of the Clone Troopers had been killed, and 70% of the Jedi had been killed.

Battle Of Kamino:

When Quinlon Vos and Aayla Secura heard plans of a CIS attack on Kamino, they immediatly warned the Republic. Around 15 Jedi, including Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, traveled to Kamino to help the Kaminoans. They engaged the Droid fleet in their Jedi Starfighters, but the battle wasn't looking good. They woudl've lost if not for the Kaminoans choice of sending three ARC Troopers into battle, to turn the tide.

Battle Of Muunilist:

Muunilist was a major CIS stronghold, and a major Droid factory. Palpatine decided that by capturing Muunilist, the CIS would be crippled. 5 companys of Clones, led by Obi-Wan, engaged the CIS forces on Muunilist. A squad of ARC Troopers, led by Captain Fordo, blew up the CIS heavy gun battery that was devestating Republic troops. After Obi-Wan defeated bounty hunter Durge, San Hill surrendered.

Battle Of Hypori:

Palpatine ordered a team of 8 Jedi, led by Daakmen Barrek, and a legion of clones to go to Hypori and shut down the Droid foundrys. Barrek's Acclamator-Class was ambushed by General Grievous, commanding from his flagship, the Invisible Hand. The Acclamator-Class crashed upon the planets surface, and the Droid army closed in on the crashed ship. Grievous then went to the ruins of the ship and fought the 8 Jedi by himself. Only Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura, and Shaak Ti survived, but only because of the right timing arrival of ARC Trooper Fordo and his team of 12 ARC Troopers.

Battle Of Nelvaan:

Obi-Wan and Anakin were sent to the Nelvaan system to investigate reports of sightings of General Grievous. When they arrived on the planet Anakin's company of Clones were attacked by a giant creature. Anakin defeated the creature, but found out he interrupted the quest of a young nelvaan warrior. When he took Anakin and Obi-Wan to the nelvaan camp, Anakin found out he was the propesized "Ghost Hand" who would end the icy climate of Nelvaan. Anakin eventually found a secret CIS outpost where the Skakoan scientests working there were mutating Nelvaan warriors into hideous beasts. Anakin freed the Nelvaan warriors from their trance and slaughtered all the Skakoan scientests.

Battle Of Coruscant:

When Grievous swept into the Republic capital of Coruscant and kidnapped Chancellor Palpatine, the Battle Of Coruscant began. Obi-Wan and Anakin flew their Jedi Interceptors into the hangar bay of Grievous flagship, the Invisible Hand. After killing Count Dooku they rescued the Chancellor. They were able to fly the half of the ship down to Coruscant, bringing Palpatine back safely.

A New Order:

As Order 66 was executed and the Republic transformed into the Galactic Empire, many battles of the Clone Wars ended and many new ones would occur in the years to come.

Battle Of Utapau:

Clone Intelligence Units reported that General Grievous was on Utapau, so the Jedi Council sent Obi-Wan to investigate. He discovered that the CIS had held the Utapauns, led by Tion Medon, hostage. Obi-Wan located Grievous then engaged him in a lightsaber dual. Meanwhile, several battalions of Clone Troopers, led by Commander Cody, fought the Droid forces on Utapau. Near the end of the battle the Republic became an Empire and Order 66 was initiated. Cody ordered an AT-TE Tank to fire on Obi-Wan, riding his Boga. Obi-Wan plunged into the sinkhole below. The battle ended with the Empire placing Utapau under marshall law and Obi-Wan escaping in Grievous's Strike Bomber.

Battle Of Felucia:

Aayla Secura and the 327th Star Corps were ordered to hunt down CIS Leader Shui Mai, who was supposedly hiding in the Felucia system. The Republic found out Shui Mai had fled, but they still engaged the Droid forces. The battle ended with an Imperial victory, and Aayla being killed by her own troops.

Battle Of Saleucami:

During a Republic mop-up effort on the dusty world of Saleucami, Order 66 was executed and Commander Neyo and his 91st Recon Corps fired on Jedi Stass Allie, killing her.

Battle Of Kashyyyk:

The Jedi Council thought that General Grevious might be on Kashyyyk, so they sent Master Yoda, a friend of the native wookies, to investigate. He was accompanied by Luminara Undali and Clone Commanders Gree and Faie and Gree's 41st Elite Scout Troopers. Order 66 was initiated during the battle and Gree and a Scout Trooper aimed their rifles at Yoda, but he executed both of them. Yoda then fled the planet and the Empire placed the planet under marshall law.

Battle Of The Jedi Temple:

Darth Vader led a legion of Stormtroopers, the 501st, on a mission to wipe out the Jedi known as Operation: Knightfall. The Stormtroopers purged the temple in mear hours. Shortly after, Yoda and Obi-Wan fought some of the remaining Stormtroopers when they wanted re-transmit the beacon to warn the surviving Jedi to stay away.

Battle Of Mygeeto:

Palpatine declared Mygeeto a planet that if captured, would be valuable in ending the war. The Republic sent Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi to capture the CIS base on the icy world. He was accompanied by cold weather clone commander Bacara and his Galactic Marine Snowtroopers. The last stage of the battle was fought on a giant ice-bridge in the Banking Clan city. Bacara had access to UT-ATs, AT-RTs, and TX-130s during the battle. When almost all the Droid forces were decimated, Emperor Palpatine declared the Republic to be the Galactic Empire, and the Snowtroopers opened fire on Mundi, killing him. The battle was an Imperial victory.

Battle Of Eriadu:

The Battle Of Eriadu was a small conflict during the early years of the Empire. Jedi Bultar Swan and Tsui Choi retreated to Eriadu after Order 66. A squad of Stormtroopers went to the planet to track down the Jedi duo. In the end the two Jedi killed all of the Stormtroopers, then retreated to Kessel.

2nd Battle Of Naboo:

When Queen Apailana was thought to be harboring Jedi fugitives, Lord Vader sent a legion of Stormtroopers to execute the queen. They succeded, and they killed every single Jedi the queen was harboring.

2nd Battle Of Kamino:

Around 7 years after the Clone Wars, Kamino rebelled with a batch of Kamino-loyal clones. The Empire sent a platoon of Stormtroopers to put down the clone uprising. They were led by Boba Fett, who had an intimate knowledge of Kamino. When the rebellious Kaminoans tried to escape in a LAAT Gunship, a stormtrooper commander destroyed the gunship with his minimag PTL rocket launcher. Boba Fett then fled the battle.

Battle Of The Death Star Prison Break:

The prison halls of the still-classified Death Star began to rapidly fill with detainees. A large portion of the prisoners were Rebel Troopers and Wookies from Kashyyyk. 12 years into the Empire's rule, several prisoners, all Jedi, were organizing a jailbreak with their fellow inmates. They broke out of their cells the next month. The Imperial Troops stationed on the Death Star did their best to put down the rebellion. In the end the troops defeated most of the Rebels, even the Jedi. But all except for a single severly wounded Bothan Spy, who managed to steal the plans to the Death Star and pilot a Imperial Lander out of the Death Star.

Battle Of The Tantive IV:

When the Tantive IV was beamed the Death Star Plans from Polis Massa, they were instantly on the run from the Empire. Vader's Star Destroyer used a tractor beam to capture the ship, then Vader and a legion of Imperial Troops boarded the ship. Princess Leia of Alderran put the plans inside R2-D2, and R2 and C-3P0 escaped in one of the rebel ships escape pods. Vader then captured Leia and took her prisoner.

Battle Of Yavin:

When the Empire found out the location of the Rebel base of operations, the Death Star moved to Yavin. A squadron of speedy X-Wing Fighters, led by Gold Leader, went out to destroy the Death Star by firing a proton torpedo into one of the Death Stars exhaust ports. Lord Vader then decided he would go out and engage the Rebel ships, with the help of several TIE Fighters. In the end Luke Skywalker was able to make this one-in-a-million shot, after many pilots shortly before had failed. Luke blew up the Death Star, but at a price. The only Rebel pilots left were Luke, Wedge Antilles, and a unknown Y-Wing pilot.

Battle Of Massassi Temple:

Some stormtroopers and other imperial troops who crash landed on Yavin IV regrouped and planned a hit-and-run attack on the Massassi Temple. They succeded, and they killed the Bothan Leaders inside the temple.

Battle Of Hoth:

Still lusting for revenge even a year after the Battle Of Yavin, the Empire sent thousands of probe droids across the galaxy to search for the new Rebel base. They found the base in the Hoth system, so Darth Vader's Imperial Fleet traveled there. The Rebels had little time to evacuate, so they only took the essentials. A massive ground army, led by General Veers, were assigned to destroy the Rebel power generators. They destroyed the generators, and then a legion of Snowtroopers infiltrated Echo Base and engaged the remaining Rebel Troops. They decimated the Rebels still within the base, and Lord Vader executed some of them with his lightsaber. The Imperial Troops in Echo Base also salvaged many Rebel droids, weapons, and equipment. It was a crushing defeat for the Rebellion, and a huge victory for the Galactic Empire.

Battle Of Bespin:

When the Empire placed Bespin under marshall law, the Rebel Alliance sought to liberate Bespin. Shortly before the Battle Of Endor, they sent a legion of SpecForce Troopers to liberate Bespin. The Empire was not expecting an attack and was caught off guard. The result was a Rebel victory.

Battle Of Endor:

When the Rebel Alliance regrouped near Sullust, they devised a plan to destroy the Death Star II and the Imperial Fleet at Endor. The Rebels stole a small Imperial Shuttle, which Han Solo, Leia Organa, Luke, R2 and 3P0, and a team of Rebel Commandos would use to land on the forest moon of Endor. With the help of the native Ewoks, the team of Rebels penetrated the defenses of the Imperial Outpost on the moon and blew up the shield generator which protected the Death Star II. Meanwhile, Luke, now a jedi knight, engaged Darth Vader in a lightsaber dual. After Luke defeated him and Emperor Palpatine blasted him with force lightning, Vader hurled his master down the reactor tunnel, redeeming himself. Then, Lando Calrissian, Wedge Antilles, and Nien Nunb flew their ships into a Death Star II service tunnel and blew up the reactor core. This caused the Death Star II and half the Imperial Fleet to be completely decimated. This was one of the largest and most epic battles of the Galactic Civil War.

Kamino Cloning Center:

The bulk of the GAR was created here, under the watchful eye of the Kamionoans. During the first months of the Clone Wars, CIS forces invaded Kamino, but a group of Jedi, led by Shaak Ti and Anakin Skywalker, bravely defended the facility. This was also the first battle to use ARC Troopers. When the Republic became an Empire, the Kamionoans rebelled, turning their Kamino-loyal clones against the Empire. A company of Imperial Troops, led by Boba Fett, defeated the renegade Kamionoans. Shortly after, a change of government led Kamino to be ruled by Wueh Gu, a fan of the Empire, instead of Lama Su. Thus Tipoca City became a base for the Empire, and a Stormtrooper training facility.

Senate Rotunda:

The site of countless pivotal events, the senate rotunda was where the Galactic Senate took place. The Supreme Chancellor's box was in the center, so he could hear all sides of a discussion. During the time of ANH when the senate was disbanded, the Senate Rotunda was reconfigured as a musuem of Palpatine's achievments.

Jedi Temple:

The main site of the Jedi Order until the Jedi Purge, the Jedi Temple was a sanctuary for Jedi and sometimes, non-Jedi. It had many hangar bays and garages, which housed Jedi Fighters, the speedy Jedi Interceptors, and Republic Gunships. Clone Troopers often loitered at the Jedi Temple, and some Clones were fascinated by the Jedi Order. During the early days of the Empire the Jedi Temple was devestated by a legion of Stormtroopers, led by Darth Vader. The Jedi Temple was mysteriously rebuilt during the Galactic Civil War but by who, no one knows.

A New Order:

As the Empire gripped the galaxy in oppression, they extended their reach by building many outposts and bases, from the Imperial Homeworld of Coruscant to the forest moon of Endor.

Imperial City:

Imperial City, located in the heart of Coruscant, was where Emperor Palpatine would carry out his plans for the Empire. Patrols of Stormtroopers was a common site during the time of the Empire, and was part of Palpatines Rule By Fear.

Death Star:

A Space Station capable of destroying an entire planet, the Death Star was an example of the Empire's Rule By Fear. It could house around 10 divisions of stormtroopers, 5 squadrons of TIE Fighters, 15 Imperial Lambda-Class Shuttles, 10 ImperialTheta-Class Shuttles, 6 squadrons of TIE Interceptors, 6 squadrons of TIE Bombers, 4 Acclamator-Class Cruisers, and 2 Victory-Class Star Destroyers, and other Imperial ships. Its superlaser had the power to destroy an entire planet. The first Death Star was destroyed by Luke Skywalker, while the second Death Star was destroyed by Lando Calrissian, Wedge Antilles and Nien Nunb.

Carida:

One of the first Imperial bases founded, Carida was also a major Imperial Academy. It was considered a "safe haven" for lovers of the Empire. During the time of the New Republic it was destroyed by the Sun Crusher.

Imperial Bunker:

A small Imperial base during the Battle Of Endor, the Imperial Bunker was neccesary to destroying the Death Star II. In the end, Han Solo and a crack team of Rebel Commandos destroyed the bunker, allowing Rebel forces above to destroy the Death Star II.

Echo Base:

A few years after the Empire defeated the Rebels at Hoth, the Imperial Remnant returned to Hoth, to use the Scepter of Ragnos to suck the Force out of Hoth. They set up a small base of operations inside the Echo Base hangar bay, with several AT-STs and AT-ATs patrolling outside. Around a year after the Imperials had occupied the base, a jedi knight name Jaden Korr was assigned by jedi master Luke Skywalker to investigate Echo Base. He discovered the Imperials, and killed most of them. After fighting one of the Empire's Dark Jedi, Jaden fled Echo Base. The remaining Snowtroopers spared by Jaden's blade salvaged weapons, droids, and supplies and took off in an Imperial Lambda-Class Shuttle.

Imperial Rehabilitation Center:

The Imperial Rehabilitation Center was where the burnt, battered, and bruised body of Darth Vader was taken to, then placed in Sith armor. This was also the place where Vader did most of his Sith training. One room in the center was an entire room of Palpatine's Sith artifacts, such as lightsabers, cortosis blades, robes, holocrons, and crystals from Dantooine and Onderon. The Imperial Rehab Center also had multiple bacta tanks for wounded stormtroopers and officers.

BesGas Three:

When the Empire placed Bespin under marshall law, they also took control of the refinerys and outposts, in the name of the Empire. BesGas Three was one of the major refinerys which the Empire controlled.

Imperial Throne Room:

Palpatine had two grand throne rooms in both of the Death Stars. The throne room was the most shielded part of the giant space station, and Palpatine could also control the entire station from his throne room. His Royal Guards had control consoles in his throne room from where they could send messages to Star Destroyers and TIE Fighters in orbit. Palpatine also installed throne rooms in some Super Star Destroyers, if he ever visited one. Thrawn had a custom throne room built for him in his Star Destroyer, where he hung priceless works of art.

« on: March 10, 2006, 08:27 PM »
Chancellor Palpatine:

Palpatine was elected Supreme Chancellor Of The Galactic Republic during the Battle Of Naboo. He appears as a friendly and charismatic individual, but not many know his dark secret. He is the Sith Darth Sidious, controlling the Clone Wars. He is a mentor to Anakin Skywalker, and plots to turn him down the path of the Sith.

Anakin Skywalker:

Anakin is apprenticed to Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is a strong and loyal Jedi, but he constantly desires power. He is tormented between his love for his wife, Padme Amidala, and his loyalty to the Jedi Order.

General Ki-Adi-Mundi:

Ki-Adi-Mundi is a member of the Jedi Council and loyal to the Old Republic. He reluctantly agreed to be a general during the Clone Wars. During the last year of the war he served with Commander Bacara and his Galactic Marine Snowtroopers on snowy planets such as Rhen Var, Mygeeto and Hoth.

General Kit Fisto:

Kit Fisto was an active general during the Clone Wars. He fought on a multitude of planets, from the waterworld of Mon Calamari, and even to the icy world of Rhen Var.

Obi-Wan Kenobi:

Obi-Wan is constantly wary of his reckless padawan, Anakin. They fought together all throughout the Clone Wars, and when Anakin was knighted and Obi-Wan placed on the Jedi Council, became brothers. Obi-Wan is forced to fight and defeat Anakin, now Lord Darth Vader, on the lava world of Mustafar.

Bail Organa:

Wary of Palpatines increasing powers, Bail Organa is a influential senator. He and Mon Mothma have formed a secret underground organization, which will become the Rebel Alliance. When the Republic became an Empire, 501st Stormtroopers stormed the Jedi Temple. Organa arrived just in time to see the Stormtroopers killing a Jedi padawan, then Bail escaped the scene.

Mace Windu:

Mace Windu is one of the most powerful Jedi, second to Yoda. He too, along with Obi-Wan is wary of reckless Anakin. Mace Windu is killed by Emperor Palpatine shortly after the Clone Wars end. He was received a painfully large amount of force lightning, then fell out of the Grand Window of Palpatines office. His body was never recovered, but years later an Imperial Technician wandering the Coruscant streets reported seeing a "Small gold and silver stick" lying on the ground.

A New Order:

As the Republic became the Galactic Empire, many new leaders arose.

Lord Darth Vader:

When Anakin helped kill Jedi Master Mace Windu, Palpatine offered him to learn the ways of the Dark Side, and save his love Padme. Anakin agreed, and thus Darth Vader was created. His first task as a Sith Apprentice was to lead a legion of 501st Stormtroopers to the Jedi Temple and wipe out the Jedi "Traitors". After this he slaughtered the leaders of the Seperatist Remnant on the lava world of Mustafar, where he was defeated by his former Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Palpatine and his Imperial Shocktroopers salvaged his body on a lavabank and took his body to an Imperial Medical Facility on Coruscant, where some of the Empires best medical droids worked on him. They encased his burnt and crisped body in Sith Armor, taking away some of his humanity but his hate, anger, and fear were still intact.

Governor Tarkin:

A very high-ranking and model Imperial Official, Tarkin was one of the main leaders of the Galactic Empire. He worked closely with Palpatine and Vader, and showed no fear in the presence of either of them. He was killed when the Death Star Space Station was blown up by Luke Skywalker. He wore uniforms similar to the Imperial Commanders and Officers, despite his high rank.

Grand Admiral Thrawn:

Despite being an alien, Thrawn ascended rapidly in the ranks of the Empire. He was one of the best tactical experts of his time, second to Palpatine. His species, the Chiss, were very similar to humans, except they had blue skin and distinctive glowing red eyes. Thrawn was killed by his Nogrhi bodyguard Rukh.

Ysanne Isard:

A competent Imperial Intelligence Official, Ysanne Isard was one of Palpatines closests advisers. After her father, the leader of Imperial Intelligence, execution, she became the leader of Imperial Intelligence. She constructed, under Palpatines supervision, a complex prison facility, which was actually a functioning Super Star Destroyer. Prisoners thought they were trapped in a barren rock-world, despite being feet away from the Coruscant skyline. She wore a standard-issue crimson Imperial Intelligence uniform, and had a cold, cruel, and unforgiving personality, earing her the nickname, "Iceheart".
