For all you 12" customizers - this looks really good

I really like that clone, DD, and the Tanus modification is exactly what's needed.  Leave the smudge on his toe, so it looks like he expelled a little bile and was too drunk to clean it up.  Good move on the Yoda as well, I hate fixing stuff because it takes a lot of time, usually.  My compliments.

Clone questions:

What did you use for the streak of Montezuma's Revenge flame?  I like it.

Do you have a set mixture that you use to get that 501st blue color?  I've tried mixing my own a couple times, but it's either too dark or too powder-blue, and I'm tired of wasting my paint.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What they said.

Welcome Leia, and we hope to see more from you in the future.  Great work for a first clone.

Hunter, based on the body I'd say that's a tank gunner clone, but it appears to have a regular clone ball-joint head.  Now I'm curious....Leia?

Nice work!  Being able to sneak in a piece from another line (crocmaster head from GIJoe) without me realizing it - I salute you, sir.  Normally Joe heads don't look right on SW stuff, but that is just wicked-evil looking!  Great choice of that and accessories, and expertly assembled, too.  Where did that base come from?

Customizing Tips and Tricks / Re: Casting for me, done by one of you!

Dayum!  That's about 100 times better than I could ever do!  Guess I'll send him an email to see if he still sells 'em.

Thanks DD!

What can I say, Chewie, other than another job very well-done.  What did you use for that hood?

Sounds exciting, doesn't it?

Problem:   I just haven't seen a Neyo helmet sculpt out there that I like, so far.  They all seem to exaggerate the size of the face portion of the clone helmet too much (no offense intended, you can't please everybody).  Not saying mine would be a great improvement, but I'm taking a crack at it nonetheless.

I'm sculpting a helmet, or rather a facemask onto a clone helmet, for Commander Neyo.  Once I'm done with it, I'd like to send it to someone to cast copies of it for me.  I'll pay whomever does this for labor, materials, and shipping.  PM me if this is something you would do, along with a quote for casting, say, ~10 Neyo helmets from my original.

Owen, your work (on everything) is amazing, but this takes the cake.  About how many hours did you spend on that bridge?

Hey don't be hard on yourself.  Your lines are clean, paintjobs themselves are nice and simple.  Sometimes the more I paint something, the worse it turns out.  Knowing when to quit is a very good quality to have.  The sculpting is very good considering it was your first.  A lot of customizers, myself included, don't have the guts to attempt the galactic marines due lack of sculpting expertise.  Overall nice work.  Keep them coming.

Advanced Field Scout, by ebay user nag5370.

I really like this guy's work.  His soft goods always look clean and crisp, and his paintjobs are always first rate.  The only strange thing is some of his customs look a lot like jubjubjedi's drawings, like the one above.

Best Gree EVAR!  You'll have to scroll down some.

The one by DD is the only 50-dollar Gree I've ever seen.  The leg and forearm camo is the best I've seen for any Gree or Jungle-camo clone.  I agree about the silvery-ness of that one on Ebay.  Gree shouldn't be that shiny.

Looks good to me!  :D

Well, maybe include Ariel and Sebastian, both having been sliced open by aqua clone's forearm blades.....

Now let's all join hands and sing "We Are The World"

Only if I can do Springsteen's part, with the gratuitous tear streaming down my cheek.
