Well how many of you all are thrilled of seeing this film.

I just saw the trailer over at the official site, and let me tell you it looks crazy, this movie is going to tear up the big screen, let me tell you, woah!! I cant wait to see this but, i have a gut feeling this is going to be a hit, so i wanted to get this post going.  Tell me what you all think about it, i know i think this would make a great action figure line too!!

Anyway,it looks like a soso movie.I'm not to fond of the plot,though,it seems,well pretty lame.Can I justify that?Nope,just my personal tastes.

Looks good.  More interested in Troy, but still.  But the figures suck.  Boy, do they suck.

Yeah, I saw those figures at TRU. Looks like Va Helsing had his face repeatedly whacked with a hot frying pan. I dig the Frankenstein, but the other three are crimes against toy fandom.

They're from Jakks, so it's not like anyone's expectations from them were all that high.

Kind of looks like a more adult version of "Monster Squad", which is good IMO.  I'll probably won't see it in theaters (or will late in its run if word of mouth is good) but will give it a shot on DVD.

And I can personally vouch for the videogame being a disappointing, if pretty, ripoff of Devil May Cry.

Opens this week, and the Mrs. and I are pretty excited to see this.  Loads of action, famous villains, some interesting settings, good looking CG...  Looking forward to this one opening up a good summer blockbuster season!  We'll probably catch it this weekend.  Anyone else planning on checking this out?

I might be catching it late Sunday, because I'm going out of town for something I really don't want to do.

I found the second wave of figures, and they are much, much better than the first wave. I picked up a new version of VH hisself, Anna Valerious, and the Dracula beast, whom I think is the best in the line, as if ot was all that hard to be.

Man, ever since I was sitting on my ass, eating popcorn at my house, and seeing the Carl's Jr.  Commercial and the vampire chick was flying around, woah!!  Hotttt!!!!

alright I already know that I'm going to piss off a few people with this statement though it's not my intention rahter just my observations of the trailers.

I have seen about three different trailers for this movie and each one looks like ass. The CG looks it was done in flash by a 6 year old. I was waiting for the damn sponge monkeys from the rathergood website(i.e. quizno commercials) to come flying out during the castle scens. Is it me or have we just come to expect crap as the standard these days.

I expect/accept crap Gary, but with lots of monsters!    And if the Quizno's Sponge Monkets/Giant Turds are in this flick, even better!
