Jon gave me the Heads-up Saturday on the new figs hitting the AV and even sat on a few cases at one store until I showed up to take my pick. After we split up from there to cover different stores, he reported more figs spotted in East Lancaster. With that I was able to finish my TSC and help out a few other buddies as well. Thanks Man!

I hooked up with Jon Saturday night to pick up my 2 Imperial officers sets that we worked out in a trade a while back. Thanks for making all the arrangements and bringing them into town.

SS just informed me that they're begining the "pre-auth" in the next 24 hours, for the Sith Probe Droids, I might just get them early next week.

With Jon's help I was able to secure some Ambush at Ilum BPs at Lancaster Target. By phone he directed me to a cute little stock girl who brought them out for me from the back.

When I explained that a friend had guided me to her she gave me this "Oh God, now I'm the official geek supplier at the store." look, that I thought was pretty funny.

A bonus to go along with the BPs. Thanks!

'Just got back from Lancaster TRU. They had 1 Dagobah X-wing, 2 Dewbacks, 2 AT-TEs and 3 Invisble hands, so I picked up one of each. They're still $4.99 there.

A buddy just e-mailed saying that he went there earlier and picked me up a red INT. Whew!

I just got my SS e-mail notification for the Sith Probe Droid EXPACK. 'Says it'll arrive in the warehouse in 15 to 20 days.

The closest thing I've seen is a 1:32 scale "Battle of Stalingrad" playset that I bought my nephew for Christmas. I believe the company wants to do Eastern Front but might be wary of it's marketability.

I'd buy a 1:18 Yak-3, or Il-2 Shturmovik.

Alright...more 1:144 scale fighter plane repaints found at NE Lancaster WM last night. Now I do appreciate the diverse paint schemes of aircraft, but I think it's time for new sculpts.

My Salacious Crumb set came in yesterday! Now Bubo is soon to be offered, what's next 12" Gargan?

Maybe at this minute they are tolling over how to simplify the packaging more or other options to reduce manufacturing costs. I think they need to get down to roughy 8-9$ a figure to make more sales and open to more buyers.

I certainly wouldn't mind if they toned down on the packaging, I don't care for those bulky name-plate bases, which I tend to remove and put aside.

I wonder if the production of the Marvel Titaniums impacted the Star Wars line.

Hasbro just sent me a Heads-Up on Salacious B. Crumb processing. after I get this guy Jabba can't come soon enough.

I've got my Bib Fortuna! I have to say I ordered this just to spruce up my Jabba scene, but they did a really good job with the figure, and I'm glad i got it.

I have a couple of Stukas and I'm very happy to have them. The designers threw in alot of neat details like, forward and rear opening canopies, swivel rear mounted machine gun, landing gear mounted "terror sirens", dive brakes, movable elevator and rudder, 500 pound bomb with swing-out cradle as well as additional bomblets, and of course the pilot and rear gunner.

If the price doesn't bother you, you should know that the planes are made of plastic much more brittle than your common Star Wars vehicle, and parts tend to brake when forced during assembly. Also these things are huge, make sure you have plenty of space for them, I hang them up myself.

I'm a history nut, and an aviation fan so picking these planes up is a no brainer for me, but these things are cool enough that any toy collector can appreciate them. Just remember to be gentle with them.

Last night the Palmdale Super Wal-Mart had 4 1:18 scale Mig-15s, as well as the 1:144 Dogfight 2 packs. These little planes are just repaints of the earlier wave but cool none the less.

The Lancaster store has 1 remaining 1:18 scale TBF Avenger.

Palmdale Target Had Starship Battles Starter set for $39.99 and booster packs for $21.99. Yikes!  I was looking forward to this series but with iffy quality, at these prices, I'll be cutting back on these.
