Curious, has there been any word from official sources (ie Medicom)  that the Death Star Commander chase kubrick is really General Veers?

Anyways here's the 'Veers' that I scored today (crappy phone pic but it'll do!!)

Also, is the tie pilot's helmet glued onto the head? or somehow glued to the chest piece?  Do you guys just force it off?

Is that Spencer's shop?  Nice pull, regardless.

Nicely done Dale, I still have to acquire the officer, just not motivated yet :-X

Yes that is Spencer's shop.  I don't think it was him on duty tho,  it was a younger guy.

Actually the shop keeper was a bit clueless as to what the chases were this series and also tried to tell me there is a chase inside the R4-M9 box  ::)

For those of you wondering I got my 'bricks today at "Ages 3 and Up" in Metrotown Burnaby, Canada

whoohoo!  I just pulled a Veers... from my friendly neighborhood collectible store!!!

Went for a kubrick run at lunch today.  I didn't get a box of 12 because in this series i was only interested in the TIE pilot and X-wing luke, but when I got to the store they had a brand new box of 12 that hasn't been touched.  Thanks to all of you who posted the locations of the chases and regular figures, led me right to the death star trooper with the Veers inside.  I love this community~!

Pics to come tonight when I get off work.

Some kubs prefer to be displayed on a card, though.

Haha, lemme caption that pic ^

What's this world come to!?!?  People are not only switching Hasbro figures, but carded Kubricks and returning them too?  ::)

But really, if I ever get my hands on one of those Kubricks it'll stay sealed until the end of time  :o

I'm up in Vancouver Canada JediMAC.  So far I've seen the UGH Slave 1 and the ROTS Falcon but this is the only time I've come across this gunship.  Hopefully I'll be able to find the US packaging one with the foil and also the white TIE when I head down across the border next weekend.

I thought that the CW gunship I got might've been a switched one too, but I can't see the logic of someone switching out a TH ship and putting it into a regular packaging.  Anyways there doesn' seem to be any tampering with the packaging.  here's a pic to show what it is like:

Wierd eh?

I finally found a CW Gunship today.  However, I thought this was a TH vehicle and the packaging would read 'Titanium Limited' rather than the normal 'Titanium Series'.  Is the special foil packaging only for the US??  Because from the pics I've found on the net what I got was basically the regular red gunship packaging with a CW gunship put in.

Thanks for your welcomes people!

Yeah when I have some time I'll make a proper post about my modest collection Jesse.

As to whether opening them or not, I'll keep them carded for now even with some slight damage since my attention is still on the VTSC scouts, but later on I will probably rip them all open.

I remember this hilarious post by CHEWIE about freeing figures from their plastic prisons, and if I get to it that'd be something to have some fun with using my loose figures  ;D

right now I have 1 carded and 3 loose.

The carded one I picked up at target on a recent shopping trip  to portland (haven't seen them in canada....yet) and the 3 loose ones came from the ebay seller from shanghai that some of you have used in this thread.

hopefully i'll see some more this weekend when I pop down to seattle again

Hi!

I know there's already separate threads on the SDCC stormy and the shadow stormy, but this is a little different.

For the record this is my first official post, and I'm happy to join this community of collectors!

First a little background to this post (pls bear with me, it'll be short and painless, and hopefully it's worth it haha)

I'm from Vancouver Canada, and it seems here the figures that I like are never to be found in quantities greater than 1, or are not stocked at all.  And like most of you, I absolutely crave clones and stormtroopers, but can never get my hands on them in retail.  I have a pretty small collection of troops (usually just 1 of each), and this is only because my uncle has connections with Hasbro and from time to time mails them to me from Hong Kong.

So last week he gave me a heads up that he's sending 2 figures my way, and I was thinking all week long what troops he'll be sending my way.  In the past I've gotten a VOTC stormy, ROTS #6 clone, and even the EE SA colored clones 4 pack.  This time I was hoping maybe it'll be a the utapau clone and cody, but when I opened the package today I was just speechless.....

I've read about these exclusives on this forum and others but I never thought I would ever own them, let alone before everyone else, since normally the figures he sends me are older lines/collections.

It's really too bad since the figures were slightly damaged in the mail; the star cases were bent and had crazing marks, and the SDCC stormy's card was creased  :(

But I'm not complaining, I'm one happy collector today and these pieces are my favorite for now!  The SDCC stormy looks awesome and even damaged I find myself very reluctant to open it!

Now... I gotta go track down Crimsom Empire and learn more about that shadow stormtrooper!  Hopefully I haven't bored y'all to death...
