The wind was blowing here pretty good last night & the snow was wet. I just finished shoveling & had to put some salt on the walk.

Well, all that snow seems to have not materialized (yet).  Most of it seems to have gone north of us, and they're welcome to it.  It did have a spin off effect though.  Wet snow ended up in a transformer blowing so I spent four and half hours in the dark  First couple of hours were ok, cuz it was early enough, but then my daughter started getting scared.  Sent her off with her mom to grandma's place.  Temp in the house dropped down to 63 F.  

Spent the time pulling a Bob Cratchit.  Did the taxes by candlelight  Thank heavens for rum, mp3 players and candles.

Boston is also expected to get dumped on starting in a couple of hours and lasting until late Wednesay night.  First major storm since December. Expecting 8 - 14" of the white stuff.  Isn't it almost Spring?  WTF?
