A lot of good ones here. Below's my 10. I'll omit HoTP's comments, which I agree with.

1. SA Anakin Skywalker
2. SA Ultimate Darth Vader on Mustafar w/ SG Cloak, interchangable heads (Sith eyes/normal/crispy), interchangable legs/arms, etc to reenact Mustafar battle to Reconstruction.
3. SA Mygeeto Snowtrooper w/ Short Rifle, Heavy Rifle, and Soft Goods
4. SA Utapau Airbourne CloneTrooper w/ Short Rifle and Removable Helmet
5. Kashyyyk Scout Trooper
6. SA Commander Neyo w/ Heavy Rifle
7. SA Mace Windu w/ Soft Goods, Cloak, Lightsaber, Hilt, and Removable Hand
8. SA Movie Accurate Comm. Gree
9. SA Senate Dual Emperor Palpatine w/ Soft Goods, Lightsaber, and Hilt
10. Cin Drallig w/ Lightsaber

Honorable Mention
Padme: Any one
Spider Grievous
More Separatists
Imperial 2-1B
FX-6

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Boring characters... but want to see made.
« on: February 11, 2006, 10:26 AM »
I agree with the Imp Dignitaries. They released two of the five, I'd be all for the other three. But that's me. They looked pretty grim and evil.

I'd also put in some Padme figures. Not neccessarily a boring character, but I'd want a Naboo picnic dress one. There's not much action to that scene, unless you call rolling around in the grass with Ani action.

Ok, how about a "least popular" characters thread, but you want a figure of them made anyway.   :)

The Empire Strikes Back - Orange flight suit Luke... imagine with removable Snowspeeder gear... kind of like the Veers snap on armor.  That might not really be a boring character though, so if it has to be boring, then maybe it's time for Ice Cream Maker Guy.

Don't  dis the Ice Cream Maker Guy. He makes the finest flavas throught the galaxy!!  ;)

Saga Collection '06 / Re: SAGA2 HOF waves?
« on: February 8, 2006, 06:53 PM »

Weird... there are some decent selections in here but for the most part I think this is a bad decision, but that's based on the figures they selected.  Nothing wrong with it if the repacks made better sense.

...

I think that they could do good with this idea, and I remember some people saying they won't do any sort of HOF assortment.  Wrong!  But it could have been good, unfortunately they missed the boat.

Aren't these all Collection One figures too?

 :P

I agree with your sentiments, Chewie, and with everone else's. This wave is the "jump the shark" wave of the year. They're re-releasing figures we all could buy last year without much of a probably, and most of the choices of their so-called "Greatest Hits" were peg-warmers. I wonder where Hasbro thinks that these were the greatest of the RotS wave. There were tons a lot better than these. The only ones I can think of that fit with the theme is Vader and the SA clone.

I believe that the #2 Anakin is going to be the Cantina Han of the prequels and may even surpass Mr. Solo's record!! How many reincarnations has it been now for Ani?? At least four within a year?? *shakes head in disappointment* I guess I will be saving some money when this wave hits.

Perhaps this wave should be call Greatest Misses instead. ::)

Yeah, it seems like a weird selection.  We already were discussing this in another thread (dubbed HOF) so I should probably change the title of that thread to avoid confusion.

 :P

I thought of that too, Chewie, after putting this up. Sorry 'bout that...

Saga Collection '06 / Greatest Hits
« on: February 8, 2006, 11:04 AM »
Hasbro's relasing some of the RotS figs as "Greatest Hits", among them, peg warmer Clone Pilot, Anakin #2, Vader (don't we Vader in TSC already??), Destroyer Droid, Yoda, and others. At least they have the #41 for all you customizers. But there are other figs that I think would be better for their "Greatest Hits."

I guess I have to thank hasbro for re-releasing these 10 or 12 figures. That saves me quite a bit of dough.

See front page for me details.

It's nice to see the carded figures! Still a bit disappointed with it though. I was excited about Sora Bulq, but with his knees w/o articulation, it's reminiscent of the E2 figures. The only one I really want is the Utapau clone (no surprise). I don't know why the Geonosian pair are bright green?? The other figures are so-so, or I've already got them.

Other Collectibles / Re: Vintage (Topps) Star Wars Cards
« on: February 7, 2006, 07:09 PM »
I collect the cards, too. Most are put in binders now. The only thing is I did a lot of trading to get the ANH ones and I'm still missing some of the orange series and a lot of the stickers. I really havent' been active on the old stuff in a long time, though I did get the Sith sets the past year.

ps, if anybody's interested in trading in some cards, I'm game.
