Realistic fans owe the Clone Wars line some thanks. I think the CW got a lot of stuff made that might not have been otherwise: the Fighter Tank, Swamp Speeder, Corporate Alliance Droid tank, Droid Gunship, V-19 Torrent, AT-TE, Turbo Tank...and show only stuff, obviously. They might have made the smaller ROTS vehicles at some point, but doubtful they'd have made the EU V-19 or fighter tank (never appeared in the toon) without a more kid aimed line out there. And the big ticket items? Their releases opened the door for the new AT-AT.

I was slow to warm to the line, the first super-extra (at the time) articulated Clone trooper got me interested. Once they had more articulation for all characters, I was interested. My interest faded with reduced articulation and hard to find releases and no new characters. Honestly the same would happen to some degree with realistic if all those things happened.

Must be a custom. The feet look mold red, not painted, but that could be a parts swap.

Commander Thire had a removable helmet and I thought maybe it was based on him, but that mold was much different (no ball hips, the detail on the right bicep, etc).

My local TRU has the 12" Anakin. What a piece of junk!

He'll make point 5 past retail price. He may not look like much, but he's got it where it counts.

I agree about the length, though technically, the arc really was four episodes, they played the first part out of sequence as the season opener, since it was ambiguous enough in its ending to be a stand alone episode.  Remember we see Hondo's camp in ruins...the result of Separatist attack during the younglings arc. (In the rearranged airing order, the attack won't occur for 7 more episodes).

While entertaining, I think it misfired.

Complaints:

1. Bo Katan as Satine's sister....unnecessary and rang false...she was part of a group plotting her sister's death? Estranged relations, indeed.

2. Maul begging for mercy. A. he should know better, as he was Sidious pupil. B. it doesn't fit/borderline character assassination...I guess it does make Pre Vizla twice the man Maul is.

3. Sidious sparing Maul. He insisted Dooku off Ventress, she was too strong in the dark side. Sidious plays by his own rules, though. The Rule of Two is for his own protection. I guess we will find out his plans for Maul.

4. Yes, about the force ability, Sidious used telekinesis a lot. Maul and Opress didn't at all.

5. What was the scene about Palpatine requesting a shuttle? That went no where. 

6. How did Sidious know what was going on? Spies. Sure. Magical force sense that operates at key moments? Uh...

7. Kenobi saying Maul was forced to be evil...a tad of a leap, better applied to Savage Opress, whose origins he was more aware of.

8. Prime Minister ******bag is still alive.

9. THEY KILLED THE TWILIGHT! NOOOOOOO!!!

We also got Mas Amedda and Ki Adi Mundi cameos. Hoo-rah.

So, will there be three 3 3/4" lines or just two? Will Movie Heroes merge with the black series or go to  its own Vader packaging? Will Mission series replace Movie Heroes?

This would be a good series to release the battle droid from the MTT (not the rack ones, the "pilot" ones they've used in the Class 1 sets).
