Can someone refresh my memory... is there an expected time-frame when these should start showing up?  It'd be nice if it was after tax time...

May 1st was the supposed release date.

And as for Kobe's shooting percentage ... it's really not that low for a perimeter player in today's NBA.

Right, it's not that low.  But it's also not that good.  Rip Hamilton at 50%?  Now THAT is good.  My point is Kobe only averages 34 PPG because he TAKES 27 attempts per game.  And at 43% shooting, he's really not that impressive.  Give Rip Hamilton 27 shots per game, and he'll show you impressive.

Yup, I'd buy just about every one of those.  Some of them could be accomplished by just tossing the evolutions figure into a VPTC package, those I'd pass on for an opener but still may buy a carded one.

They could take the new biker scout and paint the BARC camo on it...

I stand corrected he aint a liar.  He just sucks ;D  Strange how no others leaked or any other figs were found.

I think it's safe to say that someone, who's maybe not a member of a SW forum, scoffed up the rest of that wave and left a pair of Greedo's from that 1 case that was put out behind.

i think the lakers would be well under .500 if kobe wasn't such a ballhog.  he is the only player on that team that would start anywhere else.

Nah, Lamar Odom is a pretty spiffy player as well with 9.4 rebounds per game  :o, 5.4 assists per game  :D, 14 PPG at 45% (higher than Kobe I might add), as well as close to 1 steal, block, and trey per game.  To say he's not an asset and a starter on any other team in the NBA (except maybe the Pistons, but look out Tayshaun!) is not really accurate.

Love D. Wade's game..but Kobe still better  8)

Oh, I agree ... but Kobe also has a few years of experience on Wade.  Dwyane can only get better.  Kobe is currently in his prime.

I'm really not too impressed by Kobe because he takes 27 shots per game.  He shoots at between 43 and 44%.  That percentage is not too stellar, it's okay.  He is a ball hog.

By comparison, Rip Hamilton takes 17 shots per game and shoots at 50%.  That is phenomenal.  Rip is not a ball hog.

There are a lot of players in the NBA that shoot at Kobe's %.  If he weren't such a ball hog, maybe his team would be better than .500

By the way, Dwyane Wade shoots over 48%, attempts just 19 shots per game with a 27 PPG avg, and has more rebounds, blocks, steals and assists than Kobe.

It doesn't matter where or how many of these showed up for me; I haven't seen a SAGA figure hanging on a peg hook in 2 weeks and rest assured I won't be seeing VOTC for a month at least.

Have I mentioned lately that Dwyane Wade is a god?  Did anyone watch the fourth quarter he dropped on the Pistons today?  Simply awesome.

I saw it on ABC.  He's pretty much the total package.  I don't get the feeling that the Heat are going to seriously contend for the title though, their supporting cast (everyone except Diesel and Flash) was actually much better last year.  I still think the Pistons are going to rule the East, with the Suns or Spurs ruling the West.

Take a look at the case assortment for this wave that is just starting to hit stores:

1x Scorch (Saga #21)
1x Sora Bulq (Saga #15)
2x Sun Fac (Saga #16)
2x C-3PO with Battle Droid head (Saga #17)
2x Poggle the Lesser (Saga #18)
1x Jango Fett (Saga #20)
1x Orange Utapaun Clone Trooper (Saga #26)
2x Yoda (Saga #19).

I don't think that makes much sense.  Yoda is going to sit.  3PO is going to sit.  Poggle is an obscure character who is already released once, and not long ago.  Clones grow wings and fly out of the store, yet those are packed 1 per case. What would have made more sense?  This:

3x Scorch (Saga #21) - still won't be able to keep him on the shelf
1x Sora Bulq (Saga #15) - gonna move
1x Sun Fac (Saga #16) - gonna move
1x C-3PO with Battle Droid head (Saga #17) - will move, then warm
1x Poggle the Lesser (Saga #18) - will move, then warm
1x Jango Fett (Saga #20) - will move, then warm
3x Orange Utapaun Clone Trooper (Saga #26) - gonna fly outta the store
1x Yoda (Saga #19) - will warm in due course

I'm suprised by that - I didn't think that department managers could make decisions on what they would and wouldn't carry.

It's probably equally as likely that the figures found their way out the door to local hobby dealers.

As far as I know, department managers cannot make these decisions.  They receive a blueprint planogram from corporate on how to set their aisles, how many pegs and where to put them, and then the product starts flowing in from corporate warehouses.  I doubt they even place orders for them.

My main concern was waiting for pics to show up of the upcoming VOTC Sandperson with soft goods.  I am so disappointed in how huge and poofy this looks.   Huge :o

Oh my God.  What were they thinking?  It looks like he's trying to wear a fur coat or something.  I don't even want this figure anymore.

This wave has not hit in Utah at all. Nothing at Target and Walmart's are not stocking up the 3 3/4 lately (one collector told me that a manager told him that they were dropping the 3 3/4 line

I really doubt that.

I have to say though, for being the most popular toy line, probably by far, retail stores are really really bad at what they do, when it comes to keeping product on the shelves so people can actually walk into their store and buy it.  Hasbro also has to have a little more sense with the way they pack figures.  If they didn't pack 2x of the pegwarmer and 1x of the army builder, that'd really help things too.
