;D Greetings. I'm happy to be here. This site came highly recommended.
I come from Port Huron, Michigan. Been collecting and loving Star Wars since I was a kid. I'm married and have two daughters, one of which is already out of the house! My kids and hubby have always thought I was a little crazy :P
I've been trading online for quite a few years now in other groups, the TradeFederation, PlayTrek, and MSWCC (Michigan Star Wars Collectores Club).
I used to frequent the boards at Artoosnews.com (before they shut down).
Can't think of much else to say now. Got questions? Shoot!
I'll be posting my trade list soon in the appropriate forum, hope to make lots of new friends here!

Welcome to JD, Amy! Glad to have another lady in the house, and please send along our thanks to your "inviter" (Sharon?). ;) We've definitely got a few prominent former Trade Fed'ers here too, like Sharon and Jeff (Nataku) among others, so hopefully you'll feel right at home. Nice close knit community here as well, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Sounds like you and Beth (jadesfire) should get along great as well, since she's pretty crazy too (or so her family says)! :P Or maybe you already know her since your both Michagan'ers?
So what type of stuff do you collect? I'll have to pretend like I didn't see the "Trek" board comment there though... ;)

Welcome Amy, this is a good forum. Glad you could make it over from some other sites; I did the same thing and I made the right choice. I'm with the ASWCC (Atlanta version) too.

Don't let ole pinky harrass you too much. We may be crazy but at least we don't poke people in the boobs and then pick our nose :-X .
You might want to check out the "picture" thread in Watto's to see the actual JD crew and Matt at his finest...or maybe not...you might never come back!! ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome! I can't believe a week went by already. I've been doing a lot of work around the house lately, and working on my long awaited room to fill. (My eldest daughter moved out, so now mom has a computer/SW room).
I'll try to keep in closer contact with the group. I'm so spoiled by email forums, I forget I need to come log in! Working on a trade list. Hope to have it ready soon, still have more to 'unpack'.
Oh, and I don't scare easily. Hard to rattle a Jedi. One of my favorite quotes:
