I know this thread is a couple days old but that really sucks. This kid went to my school, Colorado State University. I didn't know him or anything but it was big news around here. It has been a bad year for CO universities this year. There was Samantha Spady (CSU) dying of Alcohol poisoning early this year, then some kid died in the CSU rec center pool over Thanksgiving, some other kid died from alcohol at CU, a CSU student died while car surffing, and then there's the whole Gary Barnett and Ward Churchill thing going right now (I'm not sure how well that is known nationally.) It is kinda depressing. The kid was supposedly really depressed and because he was so young he didn't have very many friends up here. It is really too bad.

You damn kids get everything handed to you. I earned my banning calling someone a piece of ****.

Heck, I remember last year, I even had to inform CHEWIE of all people that there were two EEs at the end of Wookiee.  I think when he first arrived and introduced himself in our "Newbie" forum that he said "The Wookie has arrived!".  It's down there somewhere still.  He got a kick out of seeing he'd been goofing it up all that time too...

Oh, I've seen ALL of them. I looked at them yesterday that thread is out of control! I'm glad I moved here from RS already. This place is soooo much better.

Yep.  The true reasons behind Philip's madness are becoming all too apparent now.  This has NOTHING to do with breaking any of their forum rules, but has everything to do with his disdain over JediDefender here.  That's what it all boils down to.

For him to summarily ban any folks affiliated with JD for no valid reason whatsoever is absolutely insane.  Banning Dave/jokabofe who hadn't made a peep over there for quite a while?  At least Dave's on staff here, but banning Justin/CHEWIE too, 'cause he had a JD link in his sig (which has been there for quite some time mind you), that's just appalling.

I'd love to see who else is on the chopping block now.  I've seen JD in a number of sigs and posts over there, so I suppose any one of those folks have the strong potential to get the boot as well.

Hmm...  I wonder if Philip's going to start banning any of the GH guys too, just because.  Somehow I doubt that one though, as they've got a bit lower profile around RS than we do these days.

So, does this mean that Philip will now be adding into his completely phony Forum Rules that any mention of or link to JediDefender constitutes a full ban (not just a suspension and warning).  He sure better be...

He banned CHEWIE?? What the ****?1? I think Philip has officially lost it. CHEWIE has never done anything to deserve that. I am about ready to make a full time move here, I'm really sick of all the crap going on there recently, and all the new members who are either illiterate red-necks, or 6 year olds.

The thread was closed with no answer for you or an expalination and then when you start a new thread re-asking it they just tell you to mail Philip. Make sure you use an E-mail address where you don't mind spam. He'll probably find a way to steal your address book too.

Why the hell do they close every feedback thread? No one was attacking Philip and he started acting like such a little bitch. What's the deal lately. The mods haven't closed a single thread unless it is a feedback thread or one where DBB was a big contributor (the DVD and "What Movie Did you watch today" threads) There are countless duplicate threads being posted in the Toy sections and the Mods don't even care. In the last 2 weeks they have destroyed their reputation, pissed a lot of people off, all with out an explaination.
