Got my NBA chase cases this week from TMP.  Got some I didn't have before like Nash and Francis.  Also got a National Lebron and AI, so all in all i'm pleased.  Some guy got a blue Finley in chase, talk about luck.  That's right up ther with Selanne.

Yup, that would be my boy Josh (jcurry15.)  Pretty amazing, but you had to know those blue Finleys were somewhere.  I won't be at all surprised to see some more show up in cases.

If anyone comes across a black Shaq (especially an opener), keep me in mind.   ;D

All chases but Schmidt are on ebay right now.  Looks like Cooperstown is going to be hitting very, very soon.

All is right in the world

Well, that's an exaggeration to say the least, but this is the best toy news I've read in a very long time. 8)

I just got my email from Spawn.   8)

I have to have Orr.  8)
A young Gretzky during his early years in Edmonton, well you know I need that one.   :-*  Rangers Gretzky, maybe just one for my friends Mom.

Do you think McFarlane will try and "pose" that classic shot of him flying through the air?  Neat idea maybe, but how would you keep the figure posed in the air?

That part is easy, look at some of the basketball or football players.  You just use a peg.

As to whether they will or won't, I think that will depend on the deal they signed with Orr.  I'd guess they had to pay enough that there'll be multiple figures.  If that's the case, I think we'll see it at some point but maybe not right away.  If it's just a deal for a single figure, I'd guess no, because then you have no option for a chase figure as the uniform is game specific and you can't produce that variant like the black Kings Gretzky.  I don't think Orr would sit like that Gretzky did, I doubt he'd make clearance at all.

I'd like to see the pose, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

If Orr is not done it that pose, I can see some customs being done.  ;)

They could almost just reuse the Kings Gretzky pose to do the "flying" Orr.

Picked up Babe Ruth and Mike Schimdt today at my local toy show.  Only 2 dealers had Cooperstown 2 in.  Both had the Ripken chase ($25  :o) and they had Schmidt at $8, Ruth at $10, Mays at $10, Ripken at $10 and Catfish and Stargell at $12.  Curious prices.  I've heard so far that Schmidt appears to be shortpacked and no chase has popped up yet.

I picked up my first ever Sportspicks product yesterday.  I was checking Target to see if they possibly had the ROTS ships (nope), and saw that they had the little 3" NBA 2 packs on the clearance end cap.  I picked up the Garnett/Stoudemire pack, since they are two of my favorite players, and it was only $2 and change.  I know the smaller figures like this probably aren't as popular with collectors (and probably why they are on clearance), but space is a premium for me, and I was amazed how detailed they were for as small as they are.

FYI: MLB 11 regional cases (6 figs per) are showing up.  So Cal is getting Vlads (obviously.)
