The troopers look great. The Red Arc is my favorite - great detailing and the photo with the helmet off looks tremendous. Keep on sharing!
-
my favorite is the boss
-
-wow, youtr kashyykk scout looks awsome, really clean!
- your boss looks good, some nice weathering there.
- the arc looks really cool, again nice and clean and the blaster are sick, i keep wanting to do a set, but i never got around to it, yours look great though!
great set of customs, very well done and thanks for posting and sharing them with us!
-
Welcome, I'm glad you made it here! You live in STL too, right?
I must say all three are really good customs, especially the Boss. Painting is realistic and the weathering/scraped paint is fantastic.
Like the other too a lot too, and this looks like a sign of great things to come from you!
:)
-
Yep, I live in STL, thanks for the compliments.
I have been meaning to post over here for a while, but hadn't got around to it until now. I hope to start posting all my customs over here along with coreplanets and RS, and maybe join in on the group projects and stuff. Thanks again for the compliments and the warm welcome from all of you.
:)
-
I do like that Boss. That's actually the paint scheme I'm planning on my MM version. However, I think it would have looked better without the paint wear and tear. Just solid orange/red would have been better in order to show off the paint pattern.
-
Outstanding clone commando! I love the paint, weathering, deco, and articulation! Fantastic job all around.
The Red ARC is outstanding. Beautiful job. Do the weapons fit into the holsters? Its just a very sharp looking piece. I prefer red ARCS to the blue ones and this guy justr looks great!
-
Thanks for the compliments guys :D. Outrider, no the weapons do not fit in the holsters, but I am expireimenting with some holsters that might work, so as soon as I find one I like I'll post updated pics. And Phurby, while the solid paint job might do a better job of illustrating the lines, I'm kinda big on weathering right now and I felt like Boss would have been through a lot(Although I think I overdid it on the chest :P)
-
Republic Commando Boss- Looks great, good weathering.
Kashyyyk Scout Trooper- Love the camo paint scheme.
ARC Trooper Fordo- Excellent weatering, he looks really badass and like hes been through hell and beyond.
Great job Clone Commander1. :)
-
Well I have some new stuff to show. My updated 41st Elite scout with a BARC trooper pack-in helmet, and my Capt. Compton that I made for the monthly customizing challenge.

Please leave comments and thanks for looking!
-
The BARC Trooper looks really good. I would suggest maybe doing a bit of cleaning on the chin area - did you dremel that? It looks good but a bit of plastic looks to have some shredding going on. The paint on this looks awesome.
Capt. Compton is a very interesting concept, and one that I like. His shoulders do seem to be protruding out some though... ball joints are a pain in the neck to work with... I like the legs you used, but I might go back to the regular Veers arms?
:)
-
Looks good, If you take a ball grinding bit and use it on the hole of the arms you can actually get them to fit nicely, I've done it on several occasions.
Any way keep up the good work.
-
I know that the ball joints protrude a little bit, I'm just too lazy to pop them out and start dremeling again, but I'll get on that soon enough. Thanks for the comments.
-
The Clones look cool, especially Fordo. I'll have to make one of them and use yours as an example. The weathering is very well done.
The updated 41st Elite with the BARC Trooper pack-in helmet is awesome, I'd much rather see a 41st Elite custom using that pack-in helmet (or a modified Scout Trooper helmet).
Commander Compton - aside from the shoulders which you've already addressed, I really like it. The parts use is cool (combining the Royal Guard parts with Gen. Veers is a great idea). I would give him a different head (maybe a BBi Elite Force 1:18th scale head) to further separate him from Veers.
-
UPDATE-
Here are some pics of my recently redone Bacara, and older Mon Cal jedi custom, and Capt. Compton with better shoulders.

Please Leave feedback and thanks for looking, more updates soon!
-
Another update-
Here is my SA Commander Neyo, made using bathna5's amazing sculpt.
Also, my work on Imperial Commando figures has begun. I'll update with pics once I get more done.
As always, please leave feedback and thanks for looking!
-
Can you just pop the cast head on? How brittle or soft are they?
-
They are not brittle, but quite hard, and for the popping on, it depends on what clone you use, #6 or #41. With #41, I had to hollow out the head a litttle.
-
Very, very good update.
Imperial - looks good, but I'd really try and find a way to get those shoulders to fit in the torso more...
Mon Cal Jedi - looks awesome! reminds me of the one that In Rem made for his photonovel series!
Bacara - that's one of the best ones I've seen... very great weathering, looks like he just really killed Ki Adi Mundi.
Neyo - I'm probably one of the few that just don't like the Neyo helmet design that Lucasfilm created for this... but the custom is still fantastic.
:)
-
Lookin' good CC.
I also like Bacara, he looks like he's straight from the movie. Neyo's accessories and paintjob are good -- is that insignia on his torso one of those stickers? Mon Cal guy looks like a good Mon Cal Jedi should.
I have to echo Chewie's comments about the Imperial. The shoulders look a bit dislocated. Burrowing them deeper into the torso would improve the look, I think. Kudos for the attempt, as it's hard to work up the courage to boil, pop, slice, and dice sometimes.
-
Little update-
Bacara now has a removable helmet, check it out.
And you can't tell from the pic, but he now has a metal antenna made from a pin.
As always, thanks for looking and please leave feedback.
-
Coolness!! 8) A Bacara with removable helmet is on my to-do list as well. I like the head in particular. Which figure donated that? Not the AT-TE Gunner, because that one has more of a surprised look on his face. Are you gonna make a softgoods kama later on? That'd be really awesome.
-
The AOTC evo clone donated the head. As for the kama, I'm not sure, I've never really done anything with softgoods, but I may give it a shot. Thanks for the kind words!
-
UPDATE-
My Mygeeto Bridge is almost done, got it sanded, painted, and blackwashed. Now it needs debris and some supports. I'm really happy with it. LMK what you think and thanks for looking!

"Sir we've spotted an AAT down the bridge, we could use your help."
-
Amazing. Nice job! :o
-
Great job on these Clone Commanders, CC1, some of the better versions I think.
That bridge dio is really looking superb...I love the two action shots with Bacara and Mundi.
-
The bridge is awesome!
-
Looking real good there CC1. The texture and waethering look dead on. I really want to see this finished.
-
dude that looks really cool, all you need now are some galcactic marines and hey presto
-
That is a great job on the figures too.
As for bantha5's cast, if you boil it, it will soften and you can slide it right on. Be carful not to squeeze it or you will deform the helmet.
-
looking cool, I'm really liing the bridge.. might I suggest poking some wires into the broken off parts of the bridge, maybe even adding some "chunks" of bridge bits to the ends of the wires... and of course.. I cant find a single picture to help explain what I'm talking about, lol
EDIT:
although not a "bridge" http://wickedcollectibles.com/images/products/mcfarlane/mc_0011.jpg
kinda helps explain what I'm talking about.. see the piller next to him.. that's the look I was talking about.
-
Sweet, I'll use that. Thanks for the tip and kind words.
UPDATE-
I just threw this guy together for the MCC, he's my slave(ok, that sounded weird :P). I'm thinking about adding a belt to help with the waistline effect.
Anyway, LMK what you think and thanks for looking! :)
-
Good job. I know what the gist of the parts are but where did the arms come from?
HE looks like hell. Like a slave should. Keep em comin.
-
I'll just post the whole recipie,
Head: SAGA2 Carkoon Han
Torso, Arms: SAGA2 Tatoonie Luke
Legs: VTSC Sand People
Thanks for the compliment Ennis!
-
To hide the waist gap try a piece of twine, it'll look rough and down trodden and like a poorman's belt, plus it will hide the gap. between the torso and the hips. Otherwise it is and engenious custom the fits the look of a slave very well.
Great work on the bridge and the Baccara BTW.
-
UPDATE-
I totally redid my BARC trooper with a more movie accurate camo scheme. I also added a belt to my slave, but forgot to take pics, I'll have some up soon.
LMK what you think and thanks for looking! :)

-
Looks good, except the Fiber mesh underneath the armor, You need to clean it up with some flat black ;) Besides that, excellant 41st scout
-
I know, I'm just lazy and forgot to do that, thanks for the compliments!
-
UPDATE-
Here is the first in a series of many Imperial Commandos customs, Captain Argos. It still needs some touchups and weathering, and it's no sithfire, but it's a start. For those that don't know, Imperial Commandos is a fan film that can be seen here (http://www.imperialcommandos.com). As of right now there's no final armor, so my figure won't have armor for a while. LMK what you think and thanks for looking!
-
Looks pretty cool. A bit rough on some of the fine details, but painting like that is never easy. I really like the design, looks like one mean clone.
:)
-
Thanks,
I cleaned it up a little after I took the pics, so it looks better now. I always seem to take the pics and then fix an error :P oh well...
-
UPDATE-
Per Joeryno's suggestion, I added some wire to the craters, I love it! My dad found me the perfect material, Picture Hanging wire. LMK what you think and thanks for looking!
-
Looks awesome! Can't wait to see the finished product!
-
Those wires are a great addition. Very cool touch.
-
Your Imp Commando helmets looks GREAT~! I love the two basic designs they use for their helmets and yours definitely captures the look.
The Mygeeto Bridge I cant WAIT to see finished! I'd like to do something similar for my Bacara and Galactic Marines (when I get my grubby hands on them next year, lol.)
I'm still very much a newcomer when it comes to building dioramas but this will surely give me something to shoot for:)
-
Oh yeah, that wiring does look neat! I'd thought about paperclips, but that picture hanging wire has a beautiful conrete wire like texture. Splendid!!
-
SWEET, I like how the wire turned out, great job and thank your dad, cause that's a good idea for material.
The Commando helmet's lookig good, a little rough, but you admited that and said you fixed it.. cant wait to see it finished, and see what the armor looks like.
-
Thanks a lot guys, I'm really happy with my dio, now I need to get my hands on some Galactic Marines! Anyway, I just need to pick up some more PoP, and work on the debris will begin.
aeseven7, If you ever need any help on a dio, PM me and I'll see if I can help.
I'm also flattered at the response to the IC helmet, thanks guys! More to come soon.
-
Here's a WIP mando that I'm working on, after seeing a BBI figure that looked great for customizing. I'm not sure what he is yet, but I'm leaning towards Mando Scout. LMK what you think and thatks for looking!
-
The diorama looks outstanding. I love the addition of what looks like rebar in the concrete. great touch. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed item.
The figure appears to be wearing some sort of ghillie suit under portions of that red armor. I like the concept but perhaps a daark wash over the shiney parts would toone it down a bit.
No doubt that this will be an outstanding figure when complete. I'm looking forward to seeing where this creative figure goes from here. :D
-
man , that looks really cool, a mando scout, or he could be a mando spy, in his wookie costume lol...seriously though this looks awsome, cant wait to see it finished
-
UPDATE-
Almost finished my new Mando, got the helmet done this evening. Just need to touchup paint in a few areas, maybe add a kama, and weather. LMK what you think and thanks for looking!
-
now this is a good custom, but i think articulation is out the window on this one right...5 points of articulation of im correct in which case, id have to change it, but other that that its awsome, ps what is aroung his neck?
-
He actually has 14 points of articulation, and the thing around his neck, I just put there to see how it looks, I may change it to black.
-
UPDATE-
After seeing starkid's snowspeeder luke, I thought I'd get off my butt and do a custom of one of my favorite luke outfits, that's been on my to do list for a while.
LMK what you think and thanks for looking!
-
That looks pretty good, although, I have to ask, what the hell happened to his flight harness?! :)
-
Ah, forgot to mention that one. The harness is supposted to pe threaded through 2 orange pouches on each leg, and I haven't made the pouches yet :P, so it will look much better after I add those.
-
I was going to ask the same question. Looks good, but is that head the right one for a Snowspeeder Luke? I think he has the remnants of the Wampa attack on his face during the Battle of Hoth, but I not totally sure. What did you use for the collar?
roron corobb
-
The collar is bren derlin's. As for the harness, it's almost fixed. And for the head, I really don't know, If anyone can tell me the correct head, please do.
-
Ah, forgot to mention that one. The harness is supposted to pe threaded through 2 orange pouches on each leg, and I haven't made the pouches yet :P, so it will look much better after I add those.
Oh. That'll look pretty cool!

The head I would use, I think would be the Saga Jedi Luke (Jabbas palace or something like that). I was looking at him the other day and notice the face looks as if he's been scared. Maybe some dry brushing or something would bring out the detail to match the movie. I don't really remember the way Luke had his hair, so I don't know if that matches. I hope that helps.
roron corobb
-
This one?
Because I happen to have one handy thanks to a gracious bonus figure Mister_Palpatine threw in with our trade.
-
Yes, that is the one I was thinking about. I just don't know about the hair.
roron corobb
-
Looks fantastic Clone Commander. And I think the head looks fine. Very good custom my friend.
:)
-
Well, heres a small update, and a question. First the update, I added little leg pouches where I split the flight harness, and it looks much better. As for the question, which do you guys prefer?
The more movie accurate belt, with the jacket sticking out.
Or no jacket sticking out?
LMK what you think and thanks for looking! :)
-
Also the tube doesn't plug in on the chest, in ESB it tucks into the pocket on their right pant leg.
adam
-
Also the tube doesn't plug in on the chest, in ESB it tucks into the pocket on their right pant leg.
adam
I'm amazed by the level of detail some of you can recall about these movies. I've watched ESB a hundred times in my life and I couldn't even tell you if there was a hose on the harness of the flight suit ;D
-
I didn't remember, "ryan" not ours but the one from FFURG, did a squad of ESB guys, and JediJay or TND can't remember who, pointed it out.
-
UPDATE-I made 2 small tweaks to the figure, 1, I added a D-Ring using incom's tutorial, 2 I made a hole so the tube can plug into his leg. LMK what you think and thanks for looking!
-
There ya go! ;D Excellent!
-
Here's a custom I'm really excited about, not because of the content, I've already done one of these, but because it's my first commission! I get to do a whole delta squad for the buyer :). He is still WIP, but He's coming along nicely. LMK what you think and thanks for looking!
-
Here's two Fett WIP's,
the first is Jango, for the Group Project, he has full articulation except for the feet, which will come later.
Next up is a ROTJ Boba Fett, all it is right now is a VOTC fett with a blackwash, but a removable helmet will come soon.
LMK what you think and thanks for looking!
-
You did a good job on Boss but i suggest you smooth out the paint in some areas, but I know how hard it is to repaint a clone white ;D so I give you props for doing it that way.
As for the Jango, good start on it it should turn out really well, and are you going to use comdr cody's head for your boba fett?
-
Finally a new update!
I was never happy with my BARC trooper, so, new shins, boots chest pouches, and camo later, here he is.
As I look at these pics, the pouches look bad. They look much better in person. Anyway, LMK what you think and thanks for looking!
-
The ROTJ Fett with the wash is awesome... I don't see why Hasbro couldn't have done that. Excellent.
:)
-
Thanks CHEWIE! He's gonna have a removable helmet soon, also, and ESB fett is in the works. Anyway, on to the update.
I've been on a big ROTS clone kick lately, so here are commanders gree and bly along with a better pic of the BARC trooper.
I had some help from my dog on the pited armor on bly's left chestplate, and I actually like it with the little crater.
Here's a good shot of the pit from my dog's tooth ;).
But wait, there's more! Here's my almost done jango for the group project. I elected to use the pilot legs instead of sculpting over the VOTC because jango seems to like the wide leged stance in the movies.
Finally, after finding a VTSC Luke for 3 bucks, I added some weathering to his helmet.
LMK what you think and thanks for looking!
-
Anyone?
Anyway, here is the next peice in my commissioned RC squad, Sev.

LMK what you think and thanks for looking.
-
Anyone???
Here's a another peice I was commissioned to do, Denaria Kee. I really don't know much about this character, but I like the result of the custom. BTW, that green area on the hand has been fixed, and some touch ups have been applied where needed..
Here's the character

Here's the figure

Wow, I haven't updated in a while. Anyway, here are some of my new customs.
First, a real quickie, just a SAGA2 Sandy with the 70th explorers Garrision(the local 501st detacthment) logo on it.
It looks much less sloppy in person.
Next, is the ultimate commander cody, a custom that I did last year, but just got a head.
Next up, a Boba fett with more realistic arms. I can't decide weather to give him ESB deco or leave him as is.
Now, an articulated ARC trooper.
Up now, a ROTJ Boba with removable helmet(Thanks to Glassman)
Finally, a WIP PLX-1 Rocket launcher for my ARC.
LMK what you think and thanks for looking!
-
Good Stuff Man, I Really Like All Of Them.
Specially The rocket Launcher. I Can't Wait To See It Finished.
Also Does Your Local Garrison Not Have Logo Stickers You could Scan And Shrink To Use.( I Like The Painting You Did Though) Just A Though
Allen
-
Yes, But I don't have photoshop on my regular computer. And didn't want to go through the hassle of getting on the the one with photoshop. Thanks!
-
They all look great, but the SA Arc is my top favorite. Im desperately wanting to do one of these myself, but the ARC to sacrifice for it is a little hard to come by in my neck of the woods.
Good job CC1 I always look forward to seeing your updates.
-
You do some nice work. The removable helmet Boba, Bly and Gree are standouts.
-
UPDATE-
I spent some time this weekend starting a big project of mine, which is making mini dios for most all my figures. Inspired by a guy at the imperial commandos fourms, here is my first mini dio, an Utapau one for Cody(who also got some additions)

LMK what you think and thanks for looking!

Looking sharp there CC1. My faves are the ARC with the articulated knee joints and the Boba Fett. Both are done well and the added articulation really makes them shine. Is that a modified Boba Fett helmet? It looks more in scale than the Hasbro version.
Also, what joints did you use to achieve the ARC trooper's knee articulation? Great stuff
-
Thank you outrider.
The Boba helmet is glassman's expanded fett cast, and it really is great. The ARC's knee joints are just plain clone knees, transplanted onto the ARC.

UPDATE-
One of these customs is just from the latest yakfinites that I forgot to post here, but the other 2 are completley new. I was completley inspired by hemble to do these(thanks!), with the suggestion for the arms coming from scoobacca at RS. LMK what you think and thanks for looking!

UPDATE-
Here's a WIP Wookie for the October Yakfinites challenge. He is the first in a trio of bounty hunters. This guy is the weapons expert, I have a droid in the planning stages that will be the transportation guy, and the human will be a sort of team leader. Anyway, LMK what you think, and thanks for looking!

Im liking it so far CC1. Its kinda got a Mando Wook feel to it. I love the backpack.
In my opinion though, some of the rougher edges on his armor could use a little sanding.
Same with the helmet, I like the helmet though. The visor looks very good.
-
I aggree on the edges, that was one of those final little details. Thanks for the comments though.
-
That Wookie is coming along nicely. I love how you kit bash so many tiny parts.
-
Thanks Anton!
Here's the final pics for this guy, and I gave him a name and backstory too.
Krurbeca
Krurbeca was born into imperial captivity on Kashyykk, and lived through a childhood of slavery, before finally escaping on an imperial weapons frigate to Courascaunt. Once there, he began working as an bouncer at bars and clubs, using his natural muscle to his advantage. One night, a bounty hunter named Telon Anor saw Krurbeca hurl a party crasher 20 feet into a wall, and Telon took notice. At the end of the night, Telon asked Kurbeca if he'd like to join his bounty hunting gang. Kurbeca accepted, and together with a droid named IB-209, they have become one of the most proficent bounty hunting teams in the galxay. Kurbeca quickly ammassed quite a collection of exotic weapons, all of which he is proficent with, and usually serves as the brawn behind Telon's brain.

UPDATE 10/28
Well, here is my next figure in my bounty hunting trio, IB-209. I'll come up with a backstory for him sometime, but for now, LMK what you think of the pictures.

All credit goes to CHEWIE for the inspiration on the base figure.

Wow, that bounty hunter looks great. The head really matches that body very very well. What's the base torso?
-
The base torso(and rest of body) is a Marvel Legends Showdown Dr. Doom figure. Thanks for the comments!
-
I like the Cody dio. What did you use for the base? Looks like some kind of marble-like disc?
-
It's the top to a paint dish I have, it sorta looks like a pringles top. Thanks for the comments!
