$29.99 was the price here. It's nice if you want the shock trooper you can swap it out with the new Legends one.  >:D

I  know I said I wouldn't buy them, and when I saw them today in person for the first time I didn't.  :P

That raises a good point... how is it that Gungan Warriors seem to have been producted 10x heavier than Gamorrean Guards?

Who knows how much Wal-Mart ordered of Discover the Force...a lot, it seems. And then there's the vintage carded release.

Since Hasbro hates money, they won't be reissuing Gammorean Guard, Imperial Royal Guard, Echo Base Trooper or anything from The Old Republic.

Adam West as Dark Knight Returns Batman.  Lady Gaga as Robin. Sir Ian McKellan as Alfred. Nick Nolte as Commissioner Gordon. Michael Keaton as the Joker.

After the SHIELD series underperforms, the interest will go away.

The one ROTJ wave never hit here, folks were getting Wickets and Gammoreans.

My Jabba is guarded by Gungans. GUNGANS! Actually, Gungans are more competent and agile than Gammoreans.

I feel ya, Toy R Us is so worthless that I only check it because Marshalls and Five Below are in the same shopping center. Even those Dollar Tree deals that some people got (Trek, Green Lantern) never arrived here.

I'd love to live in those countries that have fully stocked stores teeming with hard to find Vintage releases.

But then, I probably wouldn't speak the language, which means no job, etc...

The Original Trilogy / Re: Does the Emperor Get Haircuts?

The speciesism of the Empire is still EU to me. But wait, this topic is EU.

I think Palpatine loved all the peoples of the galaxy so much that he didn't risk their lives in war, so he created clone troopers...choosing human clones because people would think he was a bigot if the cannon fodder were copies of non-humans.

Killer Kane and Kang and Cochise and the voice of BTAS's Mr. Freeze. Holy noble-villains, Batman!

Think they overproduced Obi-Wan?

Lot of 50 CW Obi-Wan figures

On a related note, I bought some of those lots of 100 clone blasters to arm my accessory-less loose figures. They arrived today. There's the older movie version and the CW version. Both styles are made from very hard plastic. Like harder than 80's Kenner accessories. And they seem a tad rough in detail, feel more like bootlegs than product overruns/leftovers/rejects.  (Too bad they didn't copy stormtrooper blasters) The plastic is kind of glossy, which I don't care for. Overall, feel like something you'd find in a dollar store  toy set.

I wouldn't buy them again.

Why do we barely see anyone drink or eat?  If that Death Star briefing was held at my work everyone would have had a latte and a scone...or at least some Lucky Charms.

Which person at the briefing was the Facilities Manager? Judging from the polished floors, they run a tight ship, except for the monsters in the waste disposal system problem (maybe someone else's department).

Is Vader's meditation chamber also a toilet...I just assumed so.

What do they use for t.p. on Tatooine, there's no trees.

How can Chewbacca, the Ewoks and other creatures have names they seemingly cannot pronounce in their languages?

Just in time for fans to be disappointed that it doesn't include stuff from the new movie!

I never played the old one. I did pick up Empire at War at a yard sale, have yet to install it.
