Another new carded image, this time its the rerelease of Leia from ANH

I'm getting it only because I preordered the case. I love these new cards more and more though

I'm not going to get this figure. However, I really like the new cardback's look. Better than what I would have thought.

Holy crap! What's with that freaking cannon she's got?!? :o That appears to be an all new gun mold. Don't recall her having that blaster in that massive size before. Whatever happened to the "to scale" guns? ???
Looks like the clear stands are becoming more common. I guess that's a plus. I think I like the cards as well, but I'll have to check them out in person first to make my final decision on them...

What's the clear rectangle in the upper left corner? A stand?
If she's in Wave 15, I guess I have one of her coming too. I suppose that is better than monkey face, but not sure why this one needed to be redone. I sure hope she isn't overproduced or overpacked. She won't sell well. My opinion is that the collector market won't respond well. Don't think to many of the kids will buy it either.
I like the cards too, but I haven't been keeping too much carded lately.

Well, there ya go. Thanks Scott. That would indeed be the other case I ordered ;D so I will have her.
And since Matt indicated, I presume that indeed is a stand. I like stands, they help, so good on ya Hasbro. Might as well make use of that huge freaking bubble.

Interesting. The package is great. I agree, whats with the big gun & blaster. I found this picture of Leia holding a blaster on eBay.

As for the stands, not sure if they are all going to be clear. Take a look at Han. Looks like a Comm Talk Chip he standing on.

This new Princess Leia looks very close to the old "Monkey Face" version. I have this automatically pre-ordered through Kebco Toys, but if I saw this in a store I doubt I would buy it. Actually being the close-to completist I am I probably would buy it, but I don't particularly care for this figure.
The Han Solo looks really cool, but I agree with Dale... we DO NOT need another Darth Maul.

Sure is B. A most excellent choice as far as a figure to get the recarded treatment (since most everyone missed out on the MOTDS at retail). There's an ANH Vader recarded figure rumored now, which may very well be the MOTDS version as well! So keep your fingers crossed, and maybe everyone will finally have their loose MOTDS sets soon (sans base)!

Base-schmase. Not like I'm going to go hunting for a third MOTDS (well, that might be a little white lie). Just happy to have those figs, if the Vader is indeed true. Make for a nice display similar to how I do my McFarlane stuff with carded in back, loose in front.
I REALLY like the cardbacks on these new figures. I just hope they aren't released in Canada as we never end up with the picture backs like that, just three languages of warnings ::)

Decent figure, but I agree with most what's up with the bazooka? Card design is top rate.
Maybe Hasbro mixed in Snake Eyes cannon into this package.

Looks like this one might not be legit. The blaster is missing the forward grip. Compare it with this one...

we noticed that yesterday at RS, this must be a mock up...the two grip gun is what she originally came with...

I'd seen the pic several times, but today was the first time I noticed that. I also recalled the original coming with the two grip blaster.

This is Leia's sporting blaster. It only has one grip. The position of her left hand in the second picture gives the impression of a second grip, though none is visible.
Sorry folks. No variation here.
Back on topic, I'm glad to see Hasbro offering what I consider to be definitive sculpts of these characters. Changing the accessories might seem like dirty pool at first, but it's definitely an improvement over pricier CommTech chips and impossible-to-find 2-packs. I'd sooner see quality figures reissued than arbitrarily resculpted.
And you can't have too many Darth Maul figures. In Episode III, Mace Windu unveils his legion of Sith apprentices (apprenticii?) to defeat the Jedi left standing from the Clone Wars once and for all. Buy 'em up while you can. 8)

Well, the glare on the lower image really does obscure a fair ammount of the bubble.

I absolutely adore the new cards. These are my all time favorites from the modern line. The card back is even better. As for the re-releases:
Maul: Great choice. I have him, but many don't.
Leia: I would have picked the Hooded version.
Han: If what they're going for is the best representation of a core character in his/her core outfit, this is it. I got mine for $2, as I'm sure plenty of others did.
