From what I hear, everyone's ordered got cancelled. If you're still planning on ordering when (and if) the site is re-opened, I'm game. CT Unleashed works for me. Let me know.
As a result of the situation, we will not be processing any of the transactions placed Wednesday morning. You will need to place your order again when the shop reopens. All customers who placed an order before the site was taken down will be mailed a free set of Jedi movie patches and a $50 gift certificate to use for Star Wars merchandise on the site. We will give the entire Star Wars community sufficient notice before we relaunch the site.
I wondering how many sets they have since many more then 500 orders where issued since people later in the day, hour #3 or 4 didn't get any patches. So hopefully they have more then the 500 patches to give away and if they do I think that some people would be mad since they wouldn't of gotten them since they were order number 501+.
This is depressing news in one sense. The GC on the other hand is a nice touch and I still get my patches.
But aren't you guys getting a $50.00 gift certificate for the trouble? That's pretty generous and almost worth the hassle, isn't it? That's of course coming from me who was sound asleep during the whole fiasco.
Yeah I'm upset over this but can't wait to see if I get two $50 GC or not (since I had two orders). Well, I just got home from work and my packet was in my mailbox.
RotJ and Revenge of the Jedi patch set, three Topps Clone Wars Promo Cards (P1, P2, P3), and my $50 gift certificate!
They came in a little packet (which included a USPS Delivery Confirmation Number so they could track them I guess). Sent out from Lucasfilm themselves, no secondary clearing house was used.
Woo-Hoo! Glad it got here before the store re-opened!

While I understand completely that I have to reregister anew, it will no longer take my email address (this one). I tried that earlier today multiple times. To no avail. Fine, I registered with a newly created email address and it let me in. Super. Or perhaps not. When I enter my order confirmation number from March 10 it returns the statement that "The order number provided has already been processed." Frankly, no it has not. It was indeed entered earlier today, but I could not proceed to checkout. By the way, if I have to reregister anew, why is the system locking out my old email address, yet still willing to send new passwords to it? Clearly the system has not been purged so well as you suspect.
So, here is where I stand:
I have created a new email address specifically to log in, not using the one I frequent the most, thereby suffering yet another inconvenience.
Upon creating said new profile (which it seems not all users have had to do based solely on conversations on star wars collector bulletin boards/forum) I am now not able to use my confirmation number as the automated response states it has been processed. It has not. Period.
I am left with the feeling that I will not get my order originally placed on March 10th: 3 adventure Kermits and 2 green clone busts.
I have tried everything possible to alleviate the situation at my end. The site recognizes my email address, sends new passwords then summarily rejects them. I have created a new user profile as suggested by customer service, only to be left frustrated again.
I tried to order a cinemacast VAder statue earlier today, but was unable due to the above difficulties. I see they have now been removed from the front page of the site, so presumably I am out of luck on that one.
I spent five hours today trying everything imaginable to get into the site. Now I am still left corresponding with customer service. Suffice to say that if I thought I was doing something wrong, I could live with it. I suspect rather strongly that the problem is not at this end of the system, rather it is at yours and I would sincerely appreciate some assistance.

Well, I'm pretty amazed, but I ordered 2 Silver Sandtroopers yesterday, and they arrived this morning via Fedex! Only problem -- the cards are DESTROYED.
They used NO packing materials -- just threw the two figures in a cardboard box, and from the looks of them, they had to BEND THE CARDS to get them in. I'm e-mailing right now for a refund or exchange.
Ridiculous.

I had placed an order with your company for your exculisve Silver
Sandtrooper action figure on July 26. I recieved the item today and
proceded to open up the box, wondering in what condition my item would
be in seeing how the box looked a little small. When opening the box up
I immedatley saw that my item was placed in the box in such a way that
the cardback of the figure was bent noticably. Being a carded collector
of Star Wars action figures this item is of no use for me since its was
damage.
I'm not the first person that has had this problem with this figure and
other items being sent in such a way that we recieve the items
destoryed. I'm concerened on whether or not I should use your website
again for future items since it seems your shipping standards seem that
we the customers will have a high likely hold of getting an item which
has recieved damage from poor packaging on your shop side of things.
Hopefully you will improve your packaging in the future so that these
problems can be avioded in the future.

I ordered a Case of Wave 1 VOTC Figures. This case contains Luke, Leia, Han and Obi-Wan. I also know of the existance of Wave 1.5 which contains Leia, Han and Obi-Wan, no Luke. Obviously, the dumbass **** for brains people you have working there have no idea of the existance of Wave 1.5 because that is what I ******* received in the ******* mail from you ******* today.
The funny part of this is that I bet my friends at the On-Line community I hang out at, that you son of a bitch **** smokers would screw this one up since there seems to be nobody there with a ******* brain, and if there is someone there with a ******* brain, that person must have been sent out to lunch at the time my ordered was solicited (improperly), verified (it wasn't) and shipped (the shipping was great BTW).

Don't know how or why but my figures showed up ok and I had a slave 1 pin in there also (must have been some promo or something). Of course the pin was wrapped in bubble wrap and the figures weren't :-\ ???.Everyone has been getting a pin and card wrapped in bubble wrap with their orders. The pins from what I have heard seem to be from the Disney Resorts, not SW Weekends through, which are I think still avialble at Disneyland. They may have gotten all of the extra that Disney doesn't want. I kept the pin and card when I return my order figuring that I should be able to keep them.
Now they have put up this disclamer for the Silver Trooper: Item not gautenned Mint. All sales final.
I wonder if they are going to end up doing this for all new figures from them since it seems like theyndon't care about they custormers who buy stuff from them.

Cut off the bottom few inches of the damaged poster – enough so we can confirm which poster you purchased – fold it, and return this portion to us in a standard size envelope. Please include a note as to whether you would prefer an exchange or refund.

It's this one (http://shop.starwars.com/Product/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=451), says it's 39" x 27". Really nice looking piece. Finding a frame for it is going to be tough, for sure. Might have to get it custom framed. That should cost me an arm and a leg...
